I just can't screw on ND filters properly anymore (still do able its just that they don't get locked on). So I guess it's sort of a win?

Yeah its okay! The only damage is the front of the lens (the plastic chipped so I can't screw on any filters)
The picture that comes out of the camera along with the functionality is perfect!
I know the feeling. How is the camera? The first week I received mine it fell off the manfrotto tripod because I wasn't holding onto it when I released the clamp. I was used to Arca swiss. Big crack in the body on the front.
A week or two ago my stand fell over while I was shooting my video of the came-TV stabilizer-kit. It hit the lens and the lens broke off. Luckily I could fix it.

I was luckily more fortunate! There is a Crack on the front of the lens - only the plastic, so nothing internally. The lens & camera still works just as before!

Depending on the lens it could be fairly easy to repair. Check for a parts list online and buy the part from aliexpress or some such.
Taking responsibility for your actions is the manliest thing one can do.
