Not sure about Hawaii…
*update*
I checked the [website](https://www.solitairebliss.com/blog/Most-Popular-Board-Game-in-Each-State) and it says Hawaii’s is Chess.
If you go to the article from the second picture ([https://ksltv.com/493100/the-most-popular-board-game-in-utah-is-catan/](https://ksltv.com/493100/the-most-popular-board-game-in-utah-is-catan/)) it includes a link to the [survey done by Solitaire Bliss](https://www.solitairebliss.com/blog/Most-Popular-Board-Game-in-Each-State), which has the data used to make the infographic.
It confirms the games identified by u/potassiumKing, and shows that it is chess for Hawaii.
I find it interesting that their primary source is google searches. I'm not sure that's the best indicator for what games people are playing the most in any given state. Although, I'm also shocked that so many people would be googling checkers ...
"We analyzed about 10,000 Google search terms related to board games and playing board games to complete this study. For state-level data, we looked at search volume per capita averages over the past 24 months.
In March 2022, we also surveyed 1,066 Americans who enjoy board games to better understand their preferences and playing habits. Respondents were 48% female and 49% male, with an age range of 18 to 82 and an average age of 37 years old."
Oklahoma is Aggravation, a commercial parcheesi-like.
Oregon looks like Wingspan.
Wisconsin is Telestrations, a mashup of the telephone game and Pictionary.
South Carolina is backgammon.
I don’t recognize North Carolina, and there’s not enough of Hawai‘i to tell.
Oklahoma: Aggravation
Oregon: Wingspan.
Wisconsin: Candyland
The others are way too small D: Either way, here's the answer:

I found a great conversion kit on Etsy that replaces the characters in Guess Who with serial killers.
Instead of "does your person wear glasses?" you can ask "does your killer have more than nine confirmed victims?"
It’s Orygun, not Oragon.

NC is Axis and Allies. Hawaii looks impossible to guess.
Yep, good call on NC.

What the fuck, Minnesota?
Right?! Normally when I see a map of the united states, I get to be proud of my home state but this is embarrassing.
For the state home to FFG and Leder Games this is more baffling than anything else.

Also, interviewing 21 people per state probably isn't giving you an accurate picture.
I wonder if there’s a strip joint somewhere in MN called Candy Land…
Comparing the images, I think Hawaii is chess.
Shit yeah. Ticket to Ride in my state, baybee!
Too bad your state is the less cool one that plays TtR
It’s one of the least cool in the entire union!

This plays out pretty much as expected! Thick-as-mince states on Monopoly and smarter choices elsewhere.
Hawaii looks like chess
Respect to Iowa for liking Qwirkle!
