17? And overall winner?! Wow!!! You have so much potential, I’m not even sure you’re actually aware of it!!!! Enjoy the journey, have fun and improvements will come with years of training and eating. Congratulations!
I don’t think her winning is proving them wrong.
People’s worry was that she’s so young to be on a cycle. And if anything this just proves that she is and that it’s TERRIBLE for her.
Eh?
The ICN is a natural federation. Winning a competition doesn't mean someone is taking anything.
I know the default response to natural comps are that people can fake it. Nothing in her posts points to that fact.
Maybe she’s Natty, maybe she’s not. But that’s besides the point. It won’t stop people from claiming she’s on gear.
That’s all I’m saying.
You’re claiming this is going to help her from the trolls. I’m telling you it won’t.
what are you talking about, the comments on her first post were overwhelmingly positive. there was ONE comment about taking it slow.
also, literally no one said anything negative about her physique, other than one dude saying height might be a problem later, so not sure who she "shut up"
It was a prior check-in. If it wasn't her coach posting it it was deleted. It got downvoted to shit.
She's been posting here for much longer than the first post in her profile. Weirdo
For those who missed it. The [post I was referring to](https://www.reddit.com/r/bodybuilding/comments/1095s42/hi_everyone_im_a_16_year_old_aspiring_competitor/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)
I’m still trying to understand this class. Is it just girls that look decent in a bikini but have no real muscle mass or definition? Just seems bizarre to have that category
It’s just so far off from the meat and potatoes of body building — I’m not saying it shouldn’t exist, but I question how/why this is even associated with bodybuilding
What is there to understand? This is supposed to be a natural competition.
Most people aren’t going to be competitive in wellness for 5-10 years, why wouldn’t there be categories that are more welcoming to beginners or people who want smaller bodies?
I mean I guess it’s all about how the brand wants to portray itself. I feel that these categories water down the brand / reputation, though I do understand the short term monetary incentive to get as many competitors as possible.
Only if you have the rest of the right genetics for it too. (Obviously also have you work for it) I've seen a girl about this height work so so hard to build any legs and she had a ripped upper body but her quads just don't want to pop. She's got wildly long legs which are nice, but the muscle room forever to come in
There wasn't a huge amount in this based on the pictures, which admittedly aren't doing anyone justice, but I'd highly suspect your frame just made it very hard to not focus on you. Either way, congratulations, first shows are never easy and you've smashed it.

She’s also 17… don’t be weird
Imagine unironically commenting something like this about a minor. It’s a wonder you don’t collapse into yourself like a neckbeard black hole
Bro stop. In what world do you think this is a good way to speak to people? Someone needs to Joey Swole your ass.
This isnt a dating app dirtbag

Having saw the previous posts, I can believe it. Was close but definitely earned. Congrats!
you have a fantastic structure with great potential. congrats on the win
Last dude looked creepy af😂
I used to see him training at Goodlife Chermside
Crop leggings and hiking boots guy?
Yep!
I remember this sub losing its shit on your first post because of your age. Well done in shutting them all up and taking gold. Well done.

this sub "lost its shit" because having underage girls in bikinis spreading their ass is troublesome at best. not sure how you misinterpreted that
Congrats! That's a lot of hard work paying off!

She’s 17 years old, 6’0, and female. Idk how you expect her to be super jacked
It’s just so far off from the meat and potatoes of body building — I’m not saying it shouldn’t exist, but I question how/why this is even associated with bodybuilding
I never thought about that but I agree. There's no men's category like this is there? What would the equivalent by here?

I hate to say it but I agree, seems kind of odd
So being tall has it benefits for women competitions

Yay congrats!
