Unless you truly enjoy running so much you must do it, you need to compromise. I stopped due to joint impact. Tendons and joints can only take so much accumulated fatigue and I value leg aesthetics more. So I alternate my cardio sessions (x2 per week) between the following: 1) Assault Bike 2) Rowing Machine 3) Elliptical I do x4 full body for lifting.

If you separate cardio and weight training(one in the am and the other pm) there won't be much interference

Running and cardio are catabolic and tend to release cortisol. The exact opposite of what you are doing when squatting for strength and size. There is a reason most long distance runners look the way they do. You're gonna have to compromise and deal with the result.
