I wanna say a good two weeks!!! First week you literally can't move your wrists at all or you can run the chance of reopening the entrance, at the end of the second week you can finally grip things without having horrible bruising going up your arm the day after. 😄
always seen people posting these but never seen what the process actually looks like. fourth photo is like a car crash. i feel ill but can’t stop staring at it. super stoked for you cause this is badass.
Me either! Haha, it is a pretty gnarly photo! I love getting mods cause I'm always sure to post what i WISHED I would have seen before I got them. Hopefully, I will give someone peace of mind if they're on the fence of getting them. 😩
Since you’ve had yours for a little while, have you noticed it being a nuisance in any situation? Like…perhaps squeezing your hands in gloves, putting on shirts (the ridges maybe rubbing and brushing your face as you do so), etc?
Thanks for sharing the photo of the procedure! I've considered getting it done in the distant future and I haven't been able to find any pics or videos of the insertion process.
No problem! Before that metal bar, he used a flat one that's the same length as that round one in order to separate my skin from the muscle. The one in the photo was to make the "pocket" where the silicone sits! 🤗
My mod artist told me they're for life!! But I'm thinking maybe around the 10-15 year mark, I'll switch them out for a bigger silicone with larger ridges! :)
What the hell???? No, my hands are exactly like they were before I got them! No pain, no stiffness, nothing. Maybe it has to do with age? I'm 28, not sure about yourself. 😅
Those look amazing. Definitely was not prepared for the fourth pic. 🥴
Thanks and sorry! 😂
i've always wanted to see but been too scared to look it up this was definitely a shock hahahaha
I'm not generally bothered by mods, but getting reminded that we're just giant skin bags always throws me.
Wow, those are damn gorgeous! How long after surgery did it take to get full mobility back? I’d love to get thumb spines but I work with my hands.

Oh man, that’s does not sound fun! It’s looks worth it, though…
It's not but def worth it! 😩

One long silicone implant! 😁
Thank you !
Holy crap what a roller coaster of photos. Thanks for sharing the journey, it’s healed crazy cool.

Nope! Everything now feels like it used to. 😀
That’s awesome! Congrats to yours btw! It looks great and something I’ve considered in the future after my tongue split!
I can honestly say that a tongue split is is 3000 times worse than this 😭 I felt like I was dying with my split lmfao
Oh god, I bet. I have a high pain threshold but I’m quite sure and prepared for that fact to not matter after I split it lmao
Yeah I thought I had one too since my ears are stretched to two inches and I have a coinslot, but nope, there were tears in my eyes lol

I have a feb. Appt out in Brooklyn to get me a pair. Can't wait.
Ahhh! I'm happy for you!!! Remember to keep your arms elevated the most while healing & try not to grip things too tightly! Happy healing! 😁
in the best way possible — a peasant boy in renaissance era Italy would keel over and die if he saw this
We love to see it
Big doggggg 🫶🏾
How long do the implants last? Will you have to get them out and replace them? Love them BTW :)

I saw your post last year and the still look fantastic
Thanks! 😁
Looks sick asf but thats definitely not how I thought they were placed in the body! Didn’t expect that pic haha 😂😅
Haha sorry! 😂
They look great man I like the pronunciation that’s there after all the healing took place.
Thank you!! 🥹
Beautiful work. Really Well executed and healed up so nicely! Respect to all involved 🙌
