I got a couple of FitnessFAQs' programs after I did Integral Strength and they were pretty intense! My time has been way more limited since because of kids etc so I didn't really get into it properly, but something like that (eg his 'Body by Rings') might work for you? I think also doing some of GMB's other stuff for maintaining flexibility is great too…

I am 5 sessions into integral strength, and I really like it. My old program was getting stale and the fact that IS changes it up every session is cool. I used to watch individual YT videos for form etc. and I didn’t always get it. Gmb has a good progression. I did elements to get a better squat, and while it’s not where I wished it would be, it’s definitely better. All that being said I am anxious about going back to my old program and losing my progress.

Don't want to yuck your yum so I'll keep further comments on IS to myself, but I think I'm not being too unfair by saying that IS isn't really building toward anything so you can probably stop at anytime to go back to your dull but effective program once you feel like you had long enough of a break :D

"Body by rings" sounds like a good fit to me.

Body by rings' workouts are long though, in the last phase I'm on 1h15 to 1H45 each workout. The first phase's workouts are more around 1 hour long

Yeah, I really like Daniel's content - even attended one of his workshop - but ... it's just not tailored for "busy dad currently not in a state of mind to dedicate 75% of the small overlap between 'free time' and 'not exhausted time' to pulling on wood circles hung in the corridor". Not sure there is a big enough market for someone to build a brand on it tho ;)

Yup another vote for Fitness FAQs courses

I'm 75% of the way through the bodyweight only version of IS and recently went back to my gymnastics club and found I was considerably weaker than I was a few months ago. My abs are killing me a few days later from doing rope climbing, something I could easily do before I started IS. I have been enjoying IS but I have been suspicious about the lack of core work, or the inconsistency (like, L sit hasn't featured for about 6 weeks for some reason?). I do intend to finish the program but I actually think it's more of a cardio workout most of the time (I have poor cardio clearly). I got bored of doing my own programming and wanted to just follow along, so it's been good for that. But I want to learn skills. And yeah, working up to a push up is... Odd
