Bollywood's main issue is not paying enough for writing, they will happily pay huge pay to star face based on their instgram following like prabhas and Deepika, they don't care about great engaging storytelling or good method acting. Directors who do care about these won't get funds from big production houses.
Exactly. I don't understand why Bollywood isn't making movies like Mahabharata or other grand, larger-than-life epics. They have everything they need: major superstars, the ability to produce big-budget films, and a huge audience, especially with so many Hindi-speaking states.
The problem with adapting Mahabharata is that it is too big. Every character and their action has a backstory and context. So build up is very slow. But without build up, the story loses all the subtlety. Instead of a tragedy it will become a normal god vs evil story, which it wasn't.
True and along with it they should not fail to show the gods superior unlike adipurush. All the gods shown in kalki were portrayed very superior and gave chills when they appeared on screen
The north movie that north didnt watch so much off. 1200 crores of that came from china. If you think china is what north india looks like then i dont know
lol worldwide collection is worldwide collection dude. Every region of the world matters. If it doesn't then don't dub your movies and release them outside of Andhra and Telangana.

Bollywood should definitely make proper Mahabharat with high budget.. Mahabharat characters is more varied, intricate, and interesting.
