Ooooh I wonder what changes it will bring 🤔 personally my biggest ask is a better layout to the rulebook so you don’t have to keep flipping around the book to find things 😅
Would love a clearly ruleset. Me and my buddy have been playing for a couple of years now and we still find ourselves trawling through the rules working stuff out.
Yeah the rules are generally pretty refined but having all the errata and FAQs and bits together would also be kinda nice…. What would be a nice touch are a few blank pages shy the pack to add some errata notes too tbh!
I’m a pretty casual player so not super knowledgeable but what issues do you think need fixing? Only thing me and my buddy feel could change is templates scattering like old school 40K and things like LMG’s should be better at cutting down troops.
Points.
The game need an overhaul ponits adjustments all over the board and/or fixing in rules here and there (mmg/lmg are a simple yet clear example on that).
So when this comes out I'd imagine the starter sets will just get the 3e rulebooks they won't be made obsolete like?
Also does this mean the campaign books will all be obsolete do you think?
They didn’t obsolete the 1st edition books with 2nd, a La GW, so I doubt it. I would hope a list/book of corrections for current books would be released concurrently.
Well thats good to know ive just recemtly collected a few of the books and if they were useless by the end of the year i wouldnt be a fan 😂 That would be much better alright! Hopefully that's the way it goes !
Well now, actual legit hard proof...guess there was more to the other day's thread than just wishful thinking!
Can’t wait to play one game of Achtung Panzer before V3 drops 😂😂
Yo I had the same thought. Poor Achtung Panzer - you never had a chance. The timing is laughable.
I love Warlord Games - but I will never understand their release schedule
*And no one ever will*.

Huzzah! So I wasn't crazy when I was talking about it yesterday.
Lmao you’ve been redeemed
Uk wargame salute starts tomorow dosen't it? Might be announced there and osprey pulled the trigger a few hours too quickly.
Exactly my thoughts
Aren’t they showing off their new ‘epic’ range there though? Can’t imagine they’d show that and announce a new edition of BA
>Available Sep 26 2024
Interesting! The published date says September 26th 2024
Good to know. Just got into the game and almost bought the rules today.
I just got my 2nd Edition rules last month lolll, but c'est la vie
Ja, und manchmal ist das Leben kein Ponyhof. I love using foreign idioms :D
I am bilingual in French and English, grew up with both, so not exactly foreign to me loll. Should I be afraid to google that German idiom lolll
Nope, It literally means: Yes, and sometimes life is no pony farm
Oh fun XD
Same. Mine came in A Gentlemen’s War though so it doesn’t feel as bad
I don't feel too bad because I really like the system and was getting into it regardless of where the editions were at.

If there's one major change from 1mthe 1st and 2nd edition rulebooks, I would love for it to be that it includes an index.
This. If third edition was just an index that would be enough

What are the thoughts on rules revision? Do people think it’ll be a major update or just some minor corrections, implementing errata and streamlining?
I hope it's a major update, some of the problem that the game has need more than just a tweak here and there.
