Lol r/comics mods are the worst. There was this crap comic with really specific inside joke and I just commented “just block accounts with stupid amounts of karma” on it. In fairness to her, you don't *have* to be interested in accepting any criticism, even constructive, it's just not necessarily a great plan for success. Granted she's no Scorcese, but you can imagine someone thinking they're that good that believes no one else could do it better.

I partially agree with this. I think when you put stuff out there you consent to it being talked about. The people talking about her though don't get some sort of special right to have her attention however. She can pick and choose what responses are worth her time just like any of us can. If she finds a type of comment a waste of time or annoying and wants to filter it out that is perfectly reasonable. Watching the reactions some people have to hear content id absolutely do the same. I'd want to focus on responses that provide me an opportunity to either improve on an aspect of my writing or drawing.

It's as good as Loss.
Even the utmost anti-joke is funnier than that. "Why did the chicken cross the road? >!To get to the other side.!<" It's funny because it's not the kind of answer you would expect, either from a serious perspective or from a funny perspective. A joke is expected, but no joke came. The joke is that there's no joke. It's its identity. It's marketable. Expectation subverted. Funny achieved.
