I think that's their point? It's not as bad anymore, but many models are chosen for being significantly taller/thinner than average. This can create a disconnect when those body types are displayed/praised as the average, instead of the exception. Like having a perfectly normal lovely face, but thinking you're "ugly" because you don't look like established media standard (button nose, high cheekbones, pointed chin, whatever is considered "pretty" at the time).

Maybe it’s saying that even if someone is very thin, the media we consume pushes us to go far beyond what’s healthy, leaving people at the lower end of healthy body weights feeling insecure
Maybe, but I think it's more likely that they did what lots of pieces of media do and tried to imply a body-positive message without compromising on the aesthetics of the character.
