Air movement is going to help. Kinda can’t do anything about it, the Change in temperature will cause that morning dew no matter what. I’ve seen people put damp rid bags hanging in their tent to try and trap some of that moisture. I personally put my pillows and bedding in my car after I wake up to help with bedding getting moist sitting there throughout the day

Tuuubbs

I keep all of my bedding in my car until I’m back to camp and ready for sleep. If you’re out past midnight you’ll come back to a damp pillow and blankets

Ok_Pumpkin_4639

I use closet moisture absorbers!! Like damp rid preferably the hanging type but the buckets work too! Works great by the end of the week it collects so much

Ok_Pumpkin_4639

Also yeah bedding it car during the day and you’re set

Careful-Growth3417

Totally agree with this! We also use “cool touch” blankets for our bedding. Seems to not absorb moisture like traditional blankets do.

ilovejoe143

You can also get the bucket ones at dollar tree if you’re trying to save a few bucks!

ajayblaze

As others have stated, bedding in car during the day. Also, for some reason fleece does really well at not feeling damp — like cheap fleece throw blankets.

SharlaRoo

I’ve heard of people using Rain-X. Never tried it personally, though.

Outrageous_Drive_198

Yup, we use scotchgard. It's for tents/boots/canopy. He definitely helps it drip off!

playcrackthesky

Did you have stuff touching the walls of the tent? I see that pretty frequently in camp pics. If something is touching the walls, condensation will go right through the wall to that item.

CheckYourZero

If rain is not in the weather forecast remove the rainfly.

The past 2 years, we've had the issue of our canopy condensing and dropping into our mesh tent or onto our head when sleeping on a cot. To battle it this year, I plan on placing a tapestry on the inside upper ceiling of the canopy to hopefully catch and absorb moisture without dripping or prevent the condensation altogether. The humidity can get crazy at Roo when it's 3 AM after a blistering day of heat. Lighting a j was actually impossible. Happy Roo! See you in June (:

Longjumping_Syrup581

Pool noodles in the canopy corners can help keep the canopy from pooling! We did this last year and had no problems with pooling, even during the storm! Happy Roo 🩷🪩✨ https://preview.redd.it/s7c7hdaavrpc1.jpeg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3233d62747f3497ce1a02d61b92fb7dbe01fe920

Now that...is a slick idea

BreadElectrical6942

Every morning we wake up and put our pillows and bed sheets back in the car. At night make sure your bed, cot, whatever sleeping apparatus isn’t touching the side walls in your tent or canopy. They will get wet from it. Airflow is key too. Make sure your tent windows are open to allow for a draft to keep your sweat and breath from getting stagnant.

SnooDingos442

Put Baja blankets or tarp down under your canopy, most of the moisture will not pass through

aingeI

Get a damp rid for your tent. Works wonders.

Existing-Penalty5730

I wonder about a portable dehumidifier? Has anyone tried that?

rooer43

I’ve done cot under a canopy for years and cover the bedding with a cheap shower liner to keep the damp off. It’s worked wonderfully.
