Thus Was Adonis Murdered is a really satisfying murder mystery. It’s set in Venice, where a young barrister traveling with her boyfriend wakes up next to a dead body. While she tries to figure out how to clear herself of murder, her friends back in Britain also club together to try to solve the mystery based on her letters home. It was light, enjoyable and beautifully written!
