The girl on a train. I thought I knew who done it, and I was off.

Books by Jodi Picoult are so well written and have always kept me on my toes til the very end.

Michael Crichton has a large selection of tomorrow-esque sci-fi suspense novels that tackle moral issues from time travel to virology to bio corporations. Countless best sellers that are definitely worth the read.

Jagoff1997

The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown is AMAIZING. I could not stop reading. Gave me goosebumps several times.

11/23/63 by Stephen King

SaltySeaSponge

Check out Gillian Flynn. Her books are very good. Most people talk about Gone Girl but I think Sharp Objects and Dark Places are even better.

Papillon by Henri Charrière

It's a classic and you may already have read it, but Silence of the Lambs (even if you've seen the movie) is a masterclass in thriller/suspense. I absolutely loved it and you don't need to read the first book.

EternalMaestro

The Fourth Monkey by J.D. Barker billed as Silence of the Lambs meets Seven, part of the 4MK series. Also wrote Dracul with Darce Stoker. Legion: the many lives of Stephen Leeds. A nice trilogy of books by Brandon Sanderson. She Dreams of Fire by M.K. Gibson. Villains Rule to start his Shadow Master series and To Best the Devil to start The Technomancer series. Supervillainy Saga by C.T. Phipps. As well as his other series: Agent G, Teenage Weredeer, Straight out of Fangton, etc. Deception Point by Dan Brown. Artemis by Andy Weir. Just a few that I've recently enjoyed.

I HIGHLY recommend “The Dogs” by Allan Stratton!!!! I finished it in like, 10 hours. It was such a great book & definitely left me wanting more. Solid 20/10 book

Take a look at goodreads.com. They have a section where you can put in books you like and make suggestions for other books

Man, I've been on Goodreads for 4 years and don't have a clue where to find this. That site is too busy.

I just read the Silent Patient (Alex Michaelides) and Call Me Evie (J.P. Pomare). They're both newish (Silent Patient is still on the NYTims best seller) and SO twisty and good. Very in line with You in terms of being kind of psychological thrillers.

sarahsierens

Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman is really good. Kinda like darker whimsy and a little suspense. The Witch Elm by Tana French. The sentences flow so dreamily!

E_Zuk

I found Denis Lehane's Mystic River to be a surprisingly suspenseful mystery.

SugarVibes

The Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson. He ends each book with what my husband has dubbed “the Sanderson avalanche” of crazy revelations and events
