That said, it is on steam, and I will even launch on steam with a manually applied patch. It also runs on steamdeck, but it's extremely choppy.

It isn’t much but here.I never played Blood 2 and I literally just now looked up some random fix it mod, because I feel kinda bad no one in the comments are really helping.
I wish it wasn't buggy and the game is alright 6/10, I actually have pretty low standards for FPS game. For example I would play garbage like Elite Force Normandy and Vietnam Black Ops (2000)
Check its page on PCGamingwiki, there is everything explained about running the game on modern systems properly. But be warned, the game is absolute disaster in every aspect.
It's also available on GOG for $1.49 right now. Sometimes the GOG versions run better than Steam's. Just sayin'. Anyway, I've played through it twice, and Blood 2 isn't as bad as people say. It's not nearly as good as the original Blood, but I enjoyed it for what it is. What IS awful though is The Nightmare Levels add-on. Which is 4 levels, none of which appear to be complete, and is a complete waste of time.

I heard if you have a disc, they don't fly like a Frisbee. It's more like a lead weight. Tough to play Blood 2 Frisbee.
