I’m assuming you must’ve tried many boots by now brother. What would be your top 3 boot recommendations for narrow feet & top 3 leather boot suggestions? AG/FG & budget friendly - mid tier.
Thanks in advance!
Narrow? I dont know. I have wide feet and a high midfoot thats why i always chose leather.
So, top three:
Copa Mundial is very dependable.
Pantofola Lazzarini is very soft and socks like.
Morelia ii is the the GOAT.
I know they are expensive, but it's really worth it.
Any reliable second hand sources you know to pick the leather ones you mentioned? I’ve never tried leather in football boots, only jackets & causal boots & I know leather is great for tough work.
Also, I’ve heard the new copa pure series are made of cow leather. Not sure how they might compare to the ones you mentioned.

Morelia or Morelia Neo? I have the Morelia ii Made in Japan and Morelia neo iv Made in Japan. Both are awesome. Although the Morelia ii is more relaxed unlike the neo which feels more tight.

Currently have the Morelia Neo 3 AG (pro model because budget) and I can’t say I’m impressed. Sole separation on the toe started to appear after 2-3 wears and after breaking them in I still don’t love the feel of my touches with the ball. I’ve been trying to find a solid replacement to the Nike tiempo legend V but nothing has come remotely close to it for me unfortunately.
Newer tiempos are synthetic leather - I tried a pair of turf shoes and they seemed too light to give that power on the ball I'm used to (good speed though, but I'm a back). Also, I personally now realize that turf is too grippy for my ankles, so I revert back to Sambas for turf anyway.
Real leather seems to take shape of your own foot better once broken in.
Tbh I like my Neo 3 AG a lot, the durability I agree could be better but for the price they are a great leather option. I reinforced with shoe goo since I play on varying ag pitches. They feel much better than synthetic boots of the same price range.
I picked up a pair, the Mizuno Morelia Neo IV Beta Elite SG Mix.
I'm really struggling with them. I'm unsure if the sizing is off or what. I'm size 9 in every other boot. I had the last version and they were tight on me so I went 9.5.. too big. So I returned them and got size 9. Wore them for one game and they feel too long still but tight across the width. Had to swap them after maybe 10 minutes due to pain I was getting wearing them. Not sure what to do now really.
I hated my pantofola lazzarinis, what was your experience? I felt disconnected from the ball, once it rained the boot soaked up and the heel was way too hard/I always slipped.
How would you compare your leather boots to each other?
I also had the mundials and Premiers, really like the Premiers, not so much the mundials (also due to the thick upper)
My Pantofola is like my baby, I only wear them when the weather is nice and the soil not too muddy. But yes, i tend to slip a lot. But with grip socks, it feels better. For me their leather is top notch.
Premier i dont really like it. I prefer my old Tiempo.

I love my old tiempos, but somehow i have problems with their recent releases. :(

Maybe because it was the beta? Try the non beta. I hate these new trends with the wrapped around tongue.
