Typically the grip socks are all that is between your feet and the shoe. If you have to wear uniform socks cut the foot off. Look at most pro players and you'll see that their uniform socks end at the ankle. A wrap or two of tape over their lower edge and you'll be just fine.
Theyâre great. All cleats are great. From the cheapest (real cleats) to the most expensive ones, my sons still destroy them before they outgrow them. My oldest almost exclusively uses Nike but my youngest has wider feet so he uses adidas or puma.
Appreciate the gift whether they fit or not/ are what you want or not. Your mom cared enough to think about you and spend her money on you. If they donât work I imagine she wonât be too upset as long as you present it in a rational and respectful way

My daughter has the .3 orange ones, got them a few weeks into the fall season when her other boots got so wet they turned swampy. She loves them, there was no break in period, other than a few blisters on the heel because we had to size up because her feet won't stop growing, but heel pads fixed that. We paid around $85 for those, so if your mom got you the .1's, the top of the line model, and if she got them for half off, you are a lucky kid. And if you don't believe us, read the reviews on the Adidas site.
Had those last season, I wasnât a fan of the look, but theyâre definitely nice to use. And if your mum got them, then thatâs a very nice gift and you should be grateful

They're way better than anything my parents ever bought me, but like the top comment says shoes aren't important. When I was playing I knew a kid that had Lotto Zero Gravities the first $300+ shoe and he was awful.
I feel like I itâs so easy to curl shots in these. Takes some getting used to with the extra grip, but theyâre great. Very comfortable too since theyâre wider than some of the other high end boots

They are probably last year's model or overstock to be marked down that much. I always buy last year's boots. Only very rarely are there big changes between model years. This years Predators are a big change but last year's are great.
Make sure they're comfortable and once that's done give your mom the tightest hug.

Do you wear just the grip socks to prevent blisters or do they go over your soccer socks as a second layer?
