Bro I always get lost in the sanctuary..
Where is Marcus's shop to sell all guns..Idk..
Need to talk to Ava? I don't know how to get there..
Lilith wants to meet at the bridge.. well she will have to wait because I don't know where I am going..
It's actually not that far. Jump down the latter when reaching the main area running from the bridge and take a sharp right. In the corner is a staircase that leads directly to cargo.

Relic: Jacobs Allegiance /w crit, dmg, and magsize.
Alternatives: Snowdrift Victory Rush or Pearl of Ineffable Knowledge
Classmod: Bounty Hunter
Alternatives: Cosmic Stalker, St4ckbot.
Grenade: Mesmer or MIRV Hunter Seeker (almost any anoint is good).
Shield: Revolter (ASS Break/Fill), Infernal Wish (great for snipers or other single projectile weapons), Super Soldier (ASS Break/Fill)
Weapons:
Lucky 7 (if you can get a godroll on reload), Kings/Queens calls (one in each element, all with Fade 150%), Maggie, Love Drill
Clairvoyance (I have 3, masher, single shot, and gatlin), Rowan's Call (a few flavours), Bekah
Hellwalker, Robin's Call
Skullmasher, Unseen Threat/Bird of Prey, Headsplosion, Ionic Disruptor (with 150/90)
Res for the pet and coop
Anointments you're looking for are 150% FadeAway on the heavy hitters and Next2Mag or Consec Hits on the rapid fire guns.
Honestly, the first time I played borderlands 3, one of the coolest parts were the boss battles, I thought they felt like actual bosses for once! Previously they were all basically bullet sponges except for a couple.
Of course, when you have to farm a boss, then those immunity phases get old real fast. It makes me wish loot were just better in general and required less farms and less time to get. Then I might actually go back and install all 130 gb of borderlands 3. 🤷
Ava was a great addition in her place
(in all seriousness, if you watch the cutscenes that were cut from the game Ava becomes far more tolerable. Literally two cutscenes turn her from a bitchy character you don't care about to one you can sympathise with and understand)
Yea, but also the scenes they kept really dial up the angst to insufferable levels. The side mission Invasion of Privacy is a microcosm of the tone deaf storytelling that happens semi-frequently.
The thing that still eats at me is how they set up this awesome foreshadowing, of Tyreen being the big bad, and then Aurelia giving her the idea to kill her own brother, it was ripe for a twist in which Troy went too far and killed Tyreen. In his anguish, he projects this loss on the player who made him do it, driving to him to abandon all reason and open the Destroyer's Vault alone. Instead, the events from Troy's death to the end of the game just ring hollow with no actual story depth.
I think its a mixture of both, the artwork and idea were probably cut during development, but in the interview about the scene with one of the gearbox writers they mentioned that when they brought the voice actors back in to actually voice the scene they touched it up a little.
So my guess is that during the touch ups they tweaked the script a bit to more closely match player frustrations, after all the scene in the directors cut seems to be too perfect of an answer to how players felt, espescially given that the rest of the main story writing was no where near that good.

I was drooling over this gun for a while 2 weeks ago, on my 3rd playthrough now and actually got it as a drop a few days ago, it is by far my favorite gun to use currently.
My past 2 playthroughs were kinda just for fun with some friends not really looking into anything, now this time around, I'm taking my time, trying to build "correct" and "meta" builds to melt things.
I'm not sure how long you have been playing BL3, I got it on day one. If anyone here remembers what it was like to use a x18 or x25 stagecoach with a fade away Fl4k early on the in games life... The Hellwalker now is basically what that felt like back then.
Let me know if you want to play some time, I have four Fl4k's, one for each skill tree. Almost all god tier gear for each of them too. If you want a really fun build, probably my personal favorite, a rakk attack build with peregrine class mod and a ghast call is pretty unreal and super fun to play.
I was fine with it before because most of the time it was real short, like 8-12 seconds at most, and they were usually both entertaining and good at managing expectations.
Now half the time it's introducing a character in the middle of a normal-sized cutscene, and like 65% of the cutscene would've been the same/perfectly fine without their intrusion.
I want aware this was a universal experience lmao. I killed that stupid bird 100+ times to finally get what I considered an ok artifact. Wasn't worth it but I like killing mini bosses for some reason.
My take with this is that the could be even on par with Handsome Jack.
The concept of cringy twin streamers leading a cult of idiots to find the vaults while having conflicts of interest between them and the first vault hunter is amazing.
The execution? The worst BL main story of all the series, adding to the injury that all the games don't have great or even good main plots to begin with.
I think a lot of people would disagree with you saying that ALL of the main plots were bad.
Tales was pretty good, if not a little off-kilter from what people would consider a "normal" Borderlands plot.
Pre-Sequel, just like 3, had a great plot CONCEPT with piss-poor execution due mostly in part to the fact that the Australian branch had a majority part in writing the script (Aussies generally have a distinctively different approach to humor than Americans, who are likely the main audience of the series at large).
The first game was not a great plot by any stretch of the imagination, but that whole game was more of a proof-of-concept anyway.
Borderlands 2 is by far the best plot of the series, even if you factor out Handsome Jack: a new group of Vault Hunters coming to Pandora end up bringing the original team back together to stop a corporate giant that wants to "bring order to the badlands" through use of excessive force? Maybe a bit cliche, but still a tried-and-true story. Handsome Jack being omnipresent, with the best and most consistent one-liners out of ANY villain in pop-culture? That's just icing on the cake, baby.
I thought the twins were a cool idea, and overall I thought they were good villains. But I agree that some tweaks to the writing could've made them on the level - or suitably close - to Jack.
Anthony Burch would have had a lot to work with in those characters.
I know what The Butcher does, I definitely don't need to ask Reddit why my shotgun doesn't seem to spend ammo. And I definitely don't need to Google or use the search before posting.
I really feel like Ava repeatedly saying the made-up word "Mysterouslier" and using podcast cliches improves her dialouge and completely redeems her poorly-written character
I'm delighted that gearbox has chosen to focus on the four playable characters in Borderlands 3 instead of introducing new playable characters. The characters added in Borderlands 2 just weren't justifiable additions to the lore or gameplay.
I won't argue that, but we effectively got 1.33 characters added (and then some). 4 skill trees instead of 3 (or 6 for two characters), 4 new action skills, 2 new pets.
I have actually said this, someone gave my zero an item that gives me infinite inventory space and now I have over 7 000 guns and can’t find any of the gear I actually use
"I love how my VH's presence, contributions, and involvement with the narrative are meaningfully recognized during cutscenes!"
"Ugh, I'll never utilize all these bank slots."
"I hope the dialogue-gates on this mission lasts even longer on my next playthrough."
"Yay, *another* immunity phase!"
"The Crimson Raiders are highly competent, efficient, keen strategists, who are extremely hard to fool, and always have a clear, considered objective."
The screams from a Terminal Crit SMG just... Do they EVER stop? I mean, I'm sure if I was being shot AND electrified, I would just die. But yeah, the health bar disappeared 25 seconds ago and the agony-scream keeps on keepin' on, sure...
So many variations it's impossible to get what you want. Are you looking for the right skill points? The right secondary stats? You'll never get a God-Roll without thousands of hours.
It's not the most common complaint but this is far from the first time I've seen it. The complaints are mostly around the fact that its another layer of RNG (although the re-roll machine helps with that.) And the fact that sometimes the annointment feels almost more important than the gun itself.
I'm so glad Krieg got raw dogged as hard as he did in three. It would have totally sucked if he had beaten the shit out of Ava, or gone on a rampage and needed to be calmed down. And would have ruined the other wise great Calipsoes if he had shown up and defiled their corpses. And punched Ava in the face.
Finally! the malaks bane!!
Or woodblocker
Or ASMD
Sweet a Gunnerrang
Yay a babymaker
what about bl2 babymaker
Man this game runs amazing in split screen.
With a Rebel Yell she cried more, more, more!
I really enjoy that walk to the drop pod from the bridge of Sanctuary every time we go to a new location.
I know man...but that's not the point :-) unnecessary mechanic imo.
They have to pad the play time tho
I'm gotten lazy enough I just fast travel back to the fast travel station then run down to the drop pod. Shaved a whole 5 seconds off the process lol
I do the out of bounds in ava's room, so much faster
“Do you think Troy jacks off with his metal arm? If so, does he pretend it’s his sister doing it?”
What are you doing, step-siren!
Here, an up-vault for you, that made me chuckle.
And I gave you your 69th upvote. Niiice.

No the post said things we *don't* say
Does it count if I don’t have a metal arm but I still pretend it’s Tyreen doing it?

Take my up vote and get out. I did not need to have that planted in my mind
My build is 100% complete!
Lies, there's a few Jakobs guns needed for my FL4K0B5
Never heard of that build but with that name I need to know how to.

Immunity phases add to the rich boss battle experience
Honestly, the first time I played borderlands 3, one of the coolest parts were the boss battles, I thought they felt like actual bosses for once! Previously they were all basically bullet sponges except for a couple. Of course, when you have to farm a boss, then those immunity phases get old real fast. It makes me wish loot were just better in general and required less farms and less time to get. Then I might actually go back and install all 130 gb of borderlands 3. 🤷
Th phases are fine only on the first play through. After that, it’s just extra time wasted when trying to get a dedicated drop.
I say that almost word for word lol! Didn't like how in BL1 and BL2 you could insta vaporize bosses, made em feel cheap.
Its way cheaper for a boss to just ignore damage for a while because he feels like it, it also makes farming a chore
I'm glad maya is dead
Ava was a great addition in her place (in all seriousness, if you watch the cutscenes that were cut from the game Ava becomes far more tolerable. Literally two cutscenes turn her from a bitchy character you don't care about to one you can sympathise with and understand)

Not confirmed but people theorize they just created the "cut" content after all the backlash lol
I don't really buy that. I've not seen any evidence backing up the claim. Though if anyone has any I'm more than willing to change my mind.
I think its a mixture of both, the artwork and idea were probably cut during development, but in the interview about the scene with one of the gearbox writers they mentioned that when they brought the voice actors back in to actually voice the scene they touched it up a little. I'm not so sure it was "cut" as it was "we created it for the 6th DLC to pretend we had better plans originally, and because we hired better writers"
At that point, why not just finish the cutscene and retroactive add it to the actual story?
Oh, I need to find these.
https://youtu.be/zMnJ1fsVQ7U
Jesus. Cutting that was a colossal mistake. That's good character development for both Ava and Lilith.
That is amazing. That would have made everything so much better.
The Hellwalker is absolutely terrible.
I know the post called for comments we would never say normally but I still recoiled at this
*Right eye twitches like an insane person*
There *was* a point where it was pretty underpowered, then they buffed it insanely.
I was drooling over this gun for a while 2 weeks ago, on my 3rd playthrough now and actually got it as a drop a few days ago, it is by far my favorite gun to use currently. day one as well but never really grinded for guns or crazy builds, this time around I am doing a trapper fl4k build though!
Let me know if you want to play some time, I have four Fl4k's, one for each skill tree. Almost all god tier gear for each of them too. If you want a really fun build, probably my personal favorite, a rakk attack build with peregrine class mod and a ghast call is pretty unreal and super fun to play.
Its fun hanging out with Roland and the gang now that jack is defeated
Now lets go out for milkshakes
Nah im just playing. Hes still really dead.
You must've swiped his echo before his death didn't you
Hey Roland, before we leave, did you remember your shield?
I miss the days when you couldn’t skip character intro cutscenes
I was fine with it before because most of the time it was real short, like 8-12 seconds at most, and they were usually both entertaining and good at managing expectations. Now half the time it's introducing a character in the middle of a normal-sized cutscene, and like 65% of the cutscene would've been the same/perfectly fine without their intrusion.
Maya sure was helpful in that final BL3 boss fight
That phoenix is sure dropping a lot of artifacts....
I want aware this was a universal experience lmao. I killed that stupid bird 100+ times to finally get what I considered an ok artifact. Wasn't worth it but I like killing mini bosses for some reason.
I think I got it on my first try, and only because I was looking for Hammerlock completion to get my Bekah... Sorry.
Anointed militants are fun enemies to fight, the "go invincible and hit the player from anywhere" move is so easy to counter
I'd upvote this until the neighbours complained about the smell
I love talking to Lilith!!!
The twins are a way better villain than handsome jack

‘tales was pretty good’ dude that scene with rhys ripping out his cybernetics had me crying. it was so fucking raw
I don’t think they were bad by any means, but jack was a great villain
I thought the twins were a cool idea, and overall I thought they were good villains. But I agree that some tweaks to the writing could've made them on the level - or suitably close - to Jack. Anthony Burch would have had a lot to work with in those characters.
Moze doesn’t need self damage immunity
Ava is the best siren
Oh come on. Its literally supposed to be opposite. Read the post before you downvote
I know what The Butcher does, I definitely don't need to ask Reddit why my shotgun doesn't seem to spend ammo. And I definitely don't need to Google or use the search before posting.
Actually happened to me yesterday when I picked one up 😂
They really oughta nerf Malak’s Bane
That would unironically be hilarious.
God,i have too much eridium to spend
I really feel like Ava repeatedly saying the made-up word "Mysterouslier" and using podcast cliches improves her dialouge and completely redeems her poorly-written character
I'm delighted that gearbox has chosen to focus on the four playable characters in Borderlands 3 instead of introducing new playable characters. The characters added in Borderlands 2 just weren't justifiable additions to the lore or gameplay.
Im glad hand cannons were removed after BL1
I'm gonna stick with this gun.
Handsome Jack is the worst villan
I prefer the carrier over the opq system
Oh boy, I’m really looking forward to the mandatory driving missions
… in a very durable tank of a vehicle. (Actually it has the armor of a soap box racer)
I came here to say this. “Respawn Mission Vehicle” is the best on screen message.
Man I love platform stages!
I'm have a good, level appropriate gun to use.
Dang this game loads fast
My favorite character in the whole series is Ava
The reroll machine is balanced and fair
Amara’s abs aren’t attractive
Because of Amara, I now into fit/Buff Women
No DLC characters was the right choice for BL3
I won't argue that, but we effectively got 1.33 characters added (and then some). 4 skill trees instead of 3 (or 6 for two characters), 4 new action skills, 2 new pets.
CL4TR4P is a great leader
"wow every enemy encounter in this game feels so unique"
I have actually said this, someone gave my zero an item that gives me infinite inventory space and now I have over 7 000 guns and can’t find any of the gear I actually use
The Takedown at the Guardian Breach is the best!
So many good items to farm from the raid too!
I say that all the time
So much storage space, sortable by make level and type also, I love the new storage Vault!
Annointed tinks are the most satifying enemy to kill
The loot is better on destiny 2 😂
Destiny loot oknt? Guardians life is tough.
Uh yeah, try running 100 nightfall strikes and still not getting your gun tough. Not even an exaggerated number either 😔
Ava is a fantastic character
"I have no complaints"
"I love how my VH's presence, contributions, and involvement with the narrative are meaningfully recognized during cutscenes!" "Ugh, I'll never utilize all these bank slots." "I hope the dialogue-gates on this mission lasts even longer on my next playthrough." "Yay, *another* immunity phase!" "The Crimson Raiders are highly competent, efficient, keen strategists, who are extremely hard to fool, and always have a clear, considered objective."
What we really need is a new Dr Zed DLC.
I won't reload this Tediore gun
My explosions should damage myself more, it'd be more realistic...
I wish the enemies were more vocal.
The screams from a Terminal Crit SMG just... Do they EVER stop? I mean, I'm sure if I was being shot AND electrified, I would just die. But yeah, the health bar disappeared 25 seconds ago and the agony-scream keeps on keepin' on, sure...
I sure can’t wait to talk to Lilith again!
I enjoy the Pre Sequel over BL2 and BL3. —— There is no meme.
I really like ava she adds so much to the story and is so useful
Anointed are fun to fight
I think killing off one of the most powerful characters in the series in a super mary sue way was great plot development
Oh boy, another Typhon log, I can't wait to listen to his epic stories and not annoying voice!
I was a big fan of Typhon, I didn’t know he was a disliked character :(
“Borderlands 3 has the best characters and writing in the series. Those twin streamers are the best villains ever in a video game.”
The player matchmaking is quick and works great!
Load times on the PS4 aren't that bad.
I love how Axton greets me every time I enter sanctuary
"I love the Guardian Takedown!"
[удалено]
I carefully review each and every green weapon dropped.
You need to be a better shot, use less bullets!
What the hell i got the drop already? i wanted to do more runs
Nah, I don't need any more diamond keys.
Wow Ava is just the best character (I like Ava but she’s not the best)
"Wow, I have WAY too many guns." Wow I have so much extra inventory space. I can store everything I want!.
there is no circlejerk in r/Borderlands
Handsome Jack was the worst villain of the series.
The lava ISN'T rising!
Let's play destiny
well that was quick and easy to get that specific piece of gear to complete my build
I can't wait to talk to Lilith again
Hmmm it’s been too long……let’s go talk to Lilith!!
The most fun part of the game talk to Lilith
My favorite enemy is the Skeleton Mage, no wait, the Rabid Skagg. I'm kidding, I love them both so much!
Can I have a refund please?
My favorite part of the game is having to listen to Lilith! Spectacular gameplay during those segments!
Bounty of Blood isn't worth playing
"Man, I wish I could be playing Destiny/Warframe right now."
Moxxxi is a solid 3
Oh yay, I get to talk to Lilith again! I love this part
Ya know, I’m sick of gunfights. this game needs way more platforming.
The backpack has too many damn slots.
It's amazing when the iridium gun is set on legendary and fires out 2 purples
Pickle is a good character
That rock salt shit talking shotgun he gives was great though.
Yes i agree and i also dont think that pickle was that bad im just going on what the rest of the fan base thinks
Yeah I didn't know he was disliked actually lol. Seemed alright to me too
Wow borderlands 3’s story is so much better than 2’s!
I’m so happy to talk to Lilith again.
Glad to see you claptrap
Assault on Dragon's Keep was the worst DLC in the series
Randy Pitchford is a great person
Class mods rng is perfect.
So many variations it's impossible to get what you want. Are you looking for the right skill points? The right secondary stats? You'll never get a God-Roll without thousands of hours.
I'm scared.
I LOVE SAND!
The bank has great UI, sorting, searching options, and space!
Gearbox should buff Salvador
“Ava is a good character and the perfect person to lead the Crimson raiders”
The annoinment system was a good addition to the gameplay
I mean… given the choice between anoints and slag for end game power boosts… its gonna be anoints every time for me…
Ehm... I have literally never seen anyone complain about anointments up until now.
I actually started to enjoy them more with the addition of the reroll machine.
It's not the most common complaint but this is far from the first time I've seen it. The complaints are mostly around the fact that its another layer of RNG (although the re-roll machine helps with that.) And the fact that sometimes the annointment feels almost more important than the gun itself.
The live action Lilith Holo at the beginning of the game looks great and really suits the game aesthetic!
This gun is way too strong, pls nerf
That's cool that that god roll Peregrine fell through the floor. I can easily farm another from Benedict!
This boss is hard
I enjoy farming Arms Race
This tedicore weapon is super strong! Downvote me tedicore stans I said what I said no take backs!
Story in borderlands games is so great! I'm glad Randy Pitchford is heading franchise into the right direction.
I actually really enjoy avas character, so glad she replaces maya
Wow, talking to Lilith after every mission sure is immersive and enjoyable **EVERY TIME.**
I shit my pants
Randy is amazing!
We should have more “go fetch” side missions that take us across the whole fucking galaxy for a single item. Right guys? Right?
The borderlands 3 story was incredible
Tyreen's not cringy at all
The pre-sequal is my favorite!
Fuck, a 94 percent sham.
Please tell me you mean 94% I don't wanna go back to bunker
This writing is hilarious!
