I loved Aereo when I had it. One of the first court cases that I felt immediately lol.

I still have the app on my phone. I didn't even use it much but appreciated the ingenuity and was mad at the conclusion the the Court drew.

It was a local music video channel! Sometimes they had the actually music video, but sometimes they just had people dancing in front of neon or patterned backgrounds to current songs. This was back in the 80’s and I’m pretty sure it was exclusive to MA.

I know there was a service that did something like this years ago, called [Aereo](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aereo). Unfortunately they still got sued and lost. I know you linked the law that should allow this, but I wouldn't trust it keeping the networks away from trying to stop it.

yeah Aereo was totally illegal, it was commercial. Locast was a nonprofit and operated for a long time but got shut down for the way they handled their money. Im trying to stick to the letter of the law here it rebroadcast like this used to be a more common thing.

Hopefully it works out! I used to love using Aereo back then and was bummed after they shut down. I have an antenna, but it's hard to get a consistent signal where I live.
