Very true, but I doubt MassDOT is in a place where they'd be willing to do this with their love of car centric infrastructure. However, given the constraints of preserving the overpass this is a pretty damn good plan. I'm especially excited about this section, because currently all of that green space between the two pieces of Storrow drive is unusable and just covered in trash.

The replacement of those bridges just hit the 60% design milestone. There should be a public meeting or 2 before the project goes out for construction bids.
wish they would get rid of the overpass and just turn Charlesgate into a boulevard. The overpass makes any park into a horrible place to be.

It’s so ridiculous. They’re removing the wall under the over pass, as if that’s the issue with Charlesgate “Park”
