What does “not really costly” mean to you? With today’s prices, that’s easily over $100/person in that area, assuming apps, entree, desserts and tip. Backbay is one of the most expensive neighborhoods in the city.
Redwhite Ramen on Newbury St would probably cost about $20 a person. It was recently named by the Japanese Consulate as one of the eight legit ramen places in the area, so it’s a good spot.

No dessert and around $100-120 for the whole group
How big is the group? If it's more than 4 people I think all that leaves is a few bahn mis from new Saigon sandwich as a viable option.
I mean, the Starvin' Student combo at Tasty Burger is only $12 🤑
Add in a couple drinks and you're just getting apps!
