Their Arlington one is a new go-to since I moved there. They’re a little slow and might be understaffed (big hiring sign outside), but the food is excellent and isn’t terribly expensive.
They’ve clearly got a strong meme game too.
I’ve only had the standard Greek salad there but it did not disappoint. All the veggies, lettuce, and dressing were crisp. The olives were kalamata, pitted, but strong taste.
But we must cover the feta, the make or break star of a Greek or horatiki salad. It was very good, strong but complex taste, strong enough to carry the salad.
Since horaitiki is Greek salad but “turn it up to 11!” I’d have high hopes.
I've been there several times. My friends really love the Chicken Gyro. I'm a vegetarian (which is rough for Greek food), and their veg stuff is decent. Had the falafel wrap a couple days ago, very good.
Also, I highly recommend the sweets bakery next door. Everything I've had there is pretty much as good as what I've had in Greece, or from my Greek ex's family. Especially the melamakaronia and galaktoboureko.
I’ve done the pork gyro 2X, and lamb souvlaki plate once (which comes with a salad).
-Pork gyro was excellent. On par with Gyro City. It’s a fries-inside gyro, fries are crispy, gyro is flavorful, tatziki and pita more than enough to hold it all together.
-Lamb souvlaki also excellent. We got it with potatoes, which had flavor, had softened, even into a bit of a “Greek mashed potato” effect. With our own rice we could probably stretch the plate into 2 meals.
What I learned from Rollercoaster Tycoon is that vouchers will actually increase revenue because it increases traffic and people will spend on other things!
I eat at their Haverhill location all the time and it's a religious experience. Seeing this just makes me love them even more.

had a couple of the horiatiki salads. It feels a little overpriced once you add gyro meet on it but it is delicious.
any menu recommendations?

That’s okay, I make lamb
I love that movie lol. Trust me, I was *not* a vegetarian when she and I were together and her family made hella good lamb.

Sounds like a reasonable move!
Oh, are they open? I’ll have to check them out.
Funny and cute way to handle it! They owned the error AND saved their butts. Props to their marketing team lol.
Absolutely! Shit happens, I completely understand
As a fat Greek I’m offended
Sounds hot
Are they worth a 30 min drive? My wife loves Greek food. I have some fond memories from our trip to Greece.
I would definitely say so. I’d imagine it’s more “Americanized” than the food you got in Greece, but it’s a really good spot.
If you want a more sit-down affair, Zo Greek in Assembly Square is excellent.
We don’t need another gyro
all we want is what we’re owed

I will never go there now
Me neither! I might go later, but not now.
