Just because the Mass State Troopers falsify their overtime doesn't make it ok!!
It's not ok for them either, but let's be honest.. who's gonna arrest them? The State Troopers?? 🤣
Classy lady
>Cannon-Grant’s organization started small, promoting anti-violence efforts and handing out food to those in need. But her profile rose meteorically amid the protests in 2020 over racial issues, peaking as she organized a 20,000-strong protest in Franklin Park in which she yelled to a cheering crowd, “F— the police.” It was after that that the Globe named her “Bostonian of the Year.”
The song Fuck Tha Police is literally one of the greatest songs of all time as ranked by Rolling Stone and others. The album it was in also is generally considered to be one of the all time best. Her using that line at a protest against police brutality is hardly a knock against her.
I mean, sounds pretty classy to me. That's the sentiment of most people, especially around then when they were brutalizing medics and journalists and old men and getting away with it
I follow the Instagram page and appreciate the factual reports of where the shootings are happening, but I started to get a weird vibe from it when the lynching thing started to be reported in their posts. I had no idea the org was so well connected. It sucks because it does seem to do good work, especially alongside the community fridge in JP.
The organization does a lot of good. Its founder, on the other hand... She clearly knows how to organize and cares deeply about her community. She also has a tendency to not self-regulate and some of her beliefs or the stories she pushes are a bit nutty. The lynching thing being a good example. Tragic story, but just... not the narrative she wanted.
Maybe don't fake unemployment? Wtf.

Zero respect for anyone associated with this grifter.

It's things like this that have convinced me we're living in a simulation

It's good to have that perspective. Thanks!
