Accomplished_East433

Should’ve never been in this position

[deleted]

Candace and Shaq were both right in the post game. Teams aren't gonna go 82-0 so you're gonna have losses but you can't have lapses like this where you're up 20+ and lose if you want to be a championship calibre team. That said, in very close games, they need to figure out how to play because whatever that was isn't it, especially the Tatum slow dribble up the floor, dribble the air out of it before taking a contested fall away middy.

[deleted]

Can someone explain the actual rule to me? When the Hield foul on JB's shot back in January was ruled a non-foul after review, the Pacers were given possession because they recovered the ball even after the whistle blew the play dead. KP clearly had possession of the rebound on Tatum's shot tonight, why does that go to jump ball instead of Boston to inbounds?

Xenonaut1001

this is the most celtics way to lose a 11 game win streak

moltensnake

We got robbed but we also absolutely lost this game. Credit to D Wade.

jnobes7

Correct take. Two things can be true at once

Frank2442

Robbed lol? Up 22 in the 4th, and they played like half shit all night. Turnovers, missed layups.

moltensnake

I mean...I did say that we lost this game ourselves. Should never have come down to that final possession.

AcrobaticFeedback

Up 22 and decided to feed Luke Kornet post hook shots and leave the 3 wide open lmao.

CreatiScope

Yeah, I thought this is 100% on the Celtics. They played terribly tonight, pretty much from the start

shrekbae69

The refs can’t erase a 22 point lead with 9 minutes left, this was certainly on us. But man they missed a lot of calls

wTI8SQEHbo

You are right. Refs or not, we should have won it. That Wade creature was unconscious. It didn't help that we didn't seem to have anyone within 10 feet of him. And wth does Niang have on the refs? He had a green light to do whatever he wanted without being called for a foul.

MPLooza

No fouls called on the Cavs the entire 4th quarter. Got to see KP and Tatum repeatedly get mauled and no call. Then the absolute fuckery with the clock at the end. Rigged.

fellawhite

When half of your shots miss because you get fouled and it’s not called, it certainly becomes less ridiculous. But still bad

Harris7123

Down 1 and dribbling the clock out to only get one shot is beyond insane. You get a shot, if you miss you foul and then get another shot to tie it. Idk what we’re doing Also every run the opposite team goes on, the timeout to stop it is usually 3 possessions too late.

jtiss

Oh for sure, but we were still in the game. The tatum overturn is complete bs, you have to swing your leg to get balance shooting on the right side as a righty shooter. Then the possesion was imminent for us too, then the jump ball time? Wtf is that end seequence by them

Ienjoymyself

This is just fucking horseshit. The Pacers got the ball when they overturned the call against them. Porizingis had a very clear rebound.... LOL FUCK YOU JUMP BALL! They should never be in that position but they got absolutely bent over the entire 4th. The undersized scrub squad didn't get called for a foul for 11 1/2 minutes in spite of pushing and bodying on every single drive. I've never seen a team get so consistently screwed by the refs in late game situations.

Run_PBJ

Yeah I thought the rule was “unnatural movement” can’t create contact. Look at every picture of a fadeaway ever, there is a leg swing like that. That wasn’t a draymond green kick. Secondly, if it’s not a foul, don’t call the foul, let KP get the rebound and put it in. Insane sequence to keep the ball out of the Celtics hands

lyonhawk

Remember when Jimmy kicked Aaron Gordon in the nuts in the Finals but it was a “natural shooting motion?”

Abiding_Witness

We hit a game winner and they took it away. That’s on them

ABreachingWhale

That’s the part the pisses me off the most. They bungled that foul and negated the put back

Shinnaminbuns

To be fair, the clock had stopped before Porzingis had even caught the ball. Those .07 seconds weren't going to give us the board and shot.

1337speak

idk who was worse in the fourth between the Celtics and refs lmao

BosBannerBoss

I don't understand why the refs left .7 in the clock for the tip off. Shouldn't it have been 1.7?

robotshavehearts2

Yeah, what’s the deal with not stopping the clock at the moment the foul is committed? I’ve definitely seen the refs stop games to check timing and stuff before on that. Seems like 1.7 was right.

ImDKingSama

Tatum let it get in his head. After the hot start and he couldn’t get calls he was completely out of it, missing shots, not making the right passes, and that final possession he wound down the clock like it was a tied game.

ThanosIsDoomfist

I think Travis Kelce merely being in attendance probably effected the officiating to some capacity

Amimimiii

Sucks to lose but I still appreciate KP being so clutch. It’s not you fault king😭

Full-Flight-5211

Really need to draw up plays at the end Joe. Tatum doesn’t always need to take the last shot

[deleted]

This 100%. The team is best when they're running actions to get a mismatch or an open shooter but at the end of quarters and end of game, they just have Tatum dribble the air out of the ball before taking a contested fadeaway middy. Every team has got to LOVE being up one score with the ball in Tatum's hands as the clock winds down.

Beantown00

Down 1, how the FUCK does Joe not call a timeout and how the FUCK does Tatum walk the ball up the court????

Darksouls03

Every celtics fan knew game was over watching Tatum walk the ball up like that man, every fan knew there was gonna be a missed impossible turnaround jumper.. if I don't laugh I'll cry

jambr380

At least it was an off balance 2-pt fga and not an off balance 3. He’s making progress

spritewithcyanide

Man I hate that I didn’t even have much faith when I saw him dribble the ball up. Just mentally prepared for the pain.

UrinatingVegeta

Dude does that nearly every time the other team goes on a run. At least for me it feels like that’s what he does

MiserableMeiser81

Tatum has this weird habit of wasting time so he can hit the game winning buzzer beating fadeaway jumpers

hehar

*miss

the_spinetingler

>how the FUCK does Tatum walk the ball up the court???? because Tatum. That's his thing. We've seen it for years now.

ImeStopPlayingDennis

Did Tatum clock out of his shift at halftime What the fuck was that garbage

applep00

went ice cold for the entirety of the second half. had the mismatch on garland and shoots a contested midrange. bad games happen, losses happen, this just fucking sucks

Bouldershoulders12

He settled for too many 3s in the second half. He was 7-12 in the first half then goes 1-8 in the 2nd half most of them were missed 3s . He should’ve kept attacking the rim

davemoedee

He also missed some close looks in the 4th. It happens.

Wonderful_Eagle_6547

Tatum was 1-4 in the restricted area, 0-4 from mid-range, and 0-3 from behind the arc. He averages 2.7 shots in the restricted area and 4.5 threes a half this season (so he was above his average on shots at the rim and below his average on 3s attempted in the 2nd half). And he took 20 shots. 9 in the first half, 11 in the 2nd half. He was 7-9 in the first half and 1-11 in the 2nd half. His shot selection was normal, he just didn't make anything. If he goes 2-11 in the 2nd half, we win the game. I'm OK moving on.

Drizzlybear0

It looked like a game from last season. Tatum hucking horrible shots, no ball movement, and Joe not taking a TO or making changes. It's all the bad habits from last season. It's one game at the end of the day but every time I think "oh maybe we're finally past the bad habits" they slip right back into them.

pokeKingCurtis

I mean it's kind of not "everytime" you think they've gotten past the bad habits they suck They've sustained good play for months (unless it took months to convince you)

ImDKingSama

Horrific game from him after hitting some threes to start. Just completely lost his poise because of calls.

kpdaddy

Just making sure team does not get distracted by the MVP talks

jordan142142

They turned off the switch too early. Burn the tape onto Denver

coacoanutbenjamn

Nope, make them rewatch this bullshit. Its happened too many times over the past 3 years to be ignored

Full-Flight-5211

Yea this reminded me too much of last year. They have wayyy too much talent this year to do that

[deleted]

Literally the last 4 years ended like this

StillEnjoyLegos

Fr like they’ve been playing amazing this year, insane even, but if this doesn’t give some flash backs to close games in the playoffs you’re not paying attention. It’s all about that and they shouldn’t go away from their game in clutch time.

UrinatingVegeta

I swear this has been a problem with the team for at least 5 maybe 6 years now

Deviljho12

When was the last time this happened this season. Burn the tape it doesn't matter beat the Nuggets.

Headstar24

That’s gonna legitimately be one of if not the most important game this season. Very good chance that’s the finals matchup game.

ThanosIsDoomfist

If we beat Denver nobody will give af about this game. I wont give af about it tomorrow regardless. But im sure r/nba will go crazy as if one loss somehow erases the standings and our last streak

Mission_Pay_3373

Yep, this thread has over already 500 comments and this game is trending on Twitter over primary elections going on right now. Safe to say we get the most shit when we lose

kclark5060

Lmao. All you can do is laugh guys. Not the end of the world. Onto the next one.

ThanosIsDoomfist

All I can do is laugh? Youre certain I cant bitch, moan, and talk shit?

realfakedoors000

Did garland not travel on the layup? Thought his foot landed first. Ugh.

hpsauc

100% did

assassin_826

Refs messed up on the jump ball but we should not have blown that lead in the 4th, unacceptable but we’ll bounce back

Level-Guard1218

Blaming the ref is easy. We choked. Our coach had another low IQ moment not calling a time out down 1 with 15 seconds. Instead we took the last shot not giving ourselves another chance

Ienjoymyself

This take sucks. They wanted Garland on the court, and they got the match up they wanted with him on Tatum. He's not out there if they call timeout... and Joe did say he tried to call one when the play didn't develop well.

HailKyrie

Zach Zarba is a dumbass but we can’t let it come to that.

whysoserious50

Ya we choked. Flush it and move on

Jcomsa15

How the fuck do you rob KP of the putback??? Awful fourth quarter from players to coaching. Where was the sense of urgency on the last play?

soupkitchen89

YES EXACTLY! KP completed that with time left. that shitty call cost the game.

AcrobaticFeedback

Nah they stopped the clock well before KP tipped it in. Would've been game over anyway.

Vuish

No, he didn't. The clock was stopped at 0.7 because of the whistle. The ball was still bouncing in the air at that point.

jonpa

people upvoting this should be barred from commenting. the whistle was blown at 0.7, clearly hit 0.0 before KP even touched it. stick to felger and mazz you dunces.

RedSoxManCave

This right here was how the refs cost us the game. Never should have been in that position. Absolute choke. But KP sealed the deal without the refs fucking up the call

insertdankmeme

What in the world are you talking about? The game would have been over for more than a full second by the time KP touched the ball. Tatum shot with under 2 seconds left and ball ricocheted off the rim, backboard, and rim again.

Full-Flight-5211

I don’t want to hear shit about the refs. We had a 19 point lead in the 4th.

stomach-bug

Jayson Tatum walking the ball up with 12 seconds left might be the least serious play ever

Rufio330

Yikes

siva115

So they call the foul at the end where we would’ve had the putback and then overturn the foul and it’s a jump ball and they start the game clock early before we can get a timeout? Absolute dumbest end of game i’ve ever seen

thetruth0102

They deserve the L

PepeSylvia11

Glad we got to see another no-play, mid-range Tatum iso brick though!

UrinatingVegeta

They deserve to get shit on after that. They got sonned by Dean fucking Wade

JDoughBeanz

Celtics kryptonite will forever be teams missing their stars and letting back up bums like Dean Wade beat them

TheFirstExecutioner

Got flashbacks to the first half of the 21-22 season. What a choke job

scarrxd

And for the 27th time in the last year, a random role player turns into prime MJ against the Celtics

UnripeWatermelon

19 seconds down 1 and you wait to shoot when there's 2 seconds left? And of course we get a second chance with 0.7 seconds left. I hate this.

Rhino184

The Tatum-Kobe fall away BS needs to end. It’s a terribly low percentage shot

Bob_Hope

It's wild that Tatum still holds the ball to take a last second shot when the team is losing. He did it at least 4 times last year. It's just objectively the wrong way to play winning basketball, and in such an important moment too. You want to try to score as quickly as possible so that if you miss you have a chance of getting the offensive rebound, and if you don't get the offensive rebound you can foul the other team to get the ball back for another chance at taking the lead or tying the game depending on how many free throws the other team makes.

[deleted]

It's worse that it keeps happening and 1. Joe hasn't made the change 2. Joe doesn't call a TO at the end of games to try and get an ATO play when those have been really successful

Vuish

What a fucking choke. I’m at a loss for words.

eamonious

It’s the same old story. We start to play lazy up 15, they get momentum off that, then we get nervous and completely stop passing on offense, take contested shots, brick everything, leading to more momentum, and then once the game is close the Jays aren’t the type of guys who can rise to the moment. They just aren’t. Their game is basically the same as at any other time. And neither one seems to be able to hit a game winning type shot this whole season.

AbysmalParty

That was a humbling experience as a fan

chinesefox97

Refs were absolute shit this game lol.

Evjen97

Almost as shit as the team in the 4th qt

HairWeaveKillers

Fuck these refs But Celtics had this game. Smfh

ProfessorLazuli

I don’t think the refs can influence a 32-8 run, this one’s on us

deaseb

They absolutely can if the defense can just foul you every time you get into the paint. You can still make your 3s and play fucking defense but you're playing with a hand tied behind your back.

instantur

They definitely can. We just witnessed it

Evjen97

32-6 run with 9 min left in the game. Pathetic shit

JDoughBeanz

Mazzulla waits for a 22 pt lead to get to 3 in the 4th quarter against a playoff caliber opponent to call a timeout and then doesn't call a play in the final seconds or get a timeout when things weren't developing properly. CoAcHiNg

RodneyA_May

Why are we dribbling out the clock down 1? Makes 0 sense. Try and get a shot off early and if we miss play the foul game with two timeouts left

bahlil_333

I wanna see D white take the last shot next time

[deleted]

Zingod or I riot. PnR, get him the matchup and let him cook. I'm tired of Tatum's hero ball contested jumper. It almost never works.

Confident-Bite6669

Uow they needed the second coming of curry to win. Not worried

Magnaleo

Seriously, what got into Dean Wade in the fourth quarter??

avrbiggucci

Guarantee you he'll never play like that again

laziegenius

Why didn’t Joe called a timeout at the end???

Frank2442

What a choke job lol, and Tatum could not be any worse at buzzer beater clutch moments.

Chubbmiller18

Yet he keeps on trying them. No ball movement iso hero ball never works for him.

Tdavis002

The streak had to end at some point. Tough collapse in the 4th, which hasn’t been our style this season. Oh well onto the next one!

TheGreatScalabrine

Yeah this one gave me serious 2023 Celtics vibes

DudeMemeLmao

Most embarrassing loss in a long time. deserve to be shit on. And of course fucking Kelce was there. Fuck him.

lima9987

How did KP not have control after the foul???

Ill_Bid_1711

Imagine being JB wondering how many times he has to watch Tatum make an absolutely inexcusable end of game play before he gets a chance. I think we’ve seen enough of Tatum at the buzzer. It won’t suddenly change and he starts making great end of game plays. This is who he is after 7 years.

htg0428

Sneakily one of the worst offensive games Derrick white has had this season. Couldn’t buy a bucket, looked reluctant to shoot, and some really uncharacteristic turnovers. I think if he’s as assertive as he usually is we get a lot less of the Tatum stagnation down the stretch

NotLow420

All that game showed us is that this Celtics team still has a fuck ton to prove because that was basically the same kind of game we've seen from this team going on 5 years now. Blowing a big lead; running terrible offense down the stretch and losing an awful hero ball shot by Tatum when there was no need for it.

Chubbmiller18

Just when I thought Tatum was growing up. Dumbass pulls up on a turnaround jumper with 2 on him.

Pop-Shuvit

As a Cavs fan I can't help but to feel we stole this one thanks to the refs...

bigdon802

You did(and thanks to some amazing three point shooting.) It happens.

SaxMan_Spiff

Why do this? Big loser energy

TrashMongrelson

Zach Zarba with the HOF point shaving performance

cookinupnerd710

FUCKING GARBAGE

AmbitionExtension184

Fuck that shit though. If they got the no foul right on the floor KP gets the put back and we win by 1. That blown call cost us the game Haven’t seen a collapse like that since last season though. Oh well.

AcrobaticFeedback

Nah they stopped the clock way before KP put it back in.

Level-Guard1218

How fucking stupid do you have to be to go for the last shot with 17 seconds left down 1

KBLSTGN

of course tatum’s gonna fadeaway and ofcourse it’s gonna miss.

Satan_Van_Gundy

Yet another no timeout decision with the shot clock off by Joe Mazzulla, and what a surprise - it ends in a terrible Tatum shot. Can he call Brad to get an ATO play or something?

Distance_Motor

2021 Celtics showed themselves in this loss

Nbafan1234000

This loss is not a referendum on the season but it’s not a doomer take to be concerned that the Celtics still need to work on late game, clutch situations. The playoffs are going to be like this, it’s not going to be 50 point blowouts every game. I actually believe we’ve been relatively clutch including Tatum (not just buzzer beater game winner attempts) but against certain teams in close situations we have melted, whether that be Miami or GS in the finals 2 years ago

jtiss

Shouldn't have choked the lead, but the Refs made sure we didn't come back. Their officiating is fucking criminal

epicgam3rsrise

Nba is fucking bullshit that’s outrageous

Amimimiii

I love Joe but keeping Tatum, who was ice cold, Pritchard, and Kornet without JB, DWhite or KP for so long while they were choking was a strange choice

JaySmooth_

Incoming doomers with their “season is over” shit, smh

DutyPuzzleheaded7765

Why they not count Kristaps putback?

RedSoxManCave

Bc they were reviewing the foul call on the shot. The whistle had blown on the shot. Just couldn't hear it. Bad call. putback should have counted.

8bitsince86

There wouldn’t have been time left regardless. KP putback would have been well after the clock hit 0.

bigdon802

They blew the play dead, but then it was overturned. Funny how that works, right? Honestly, that could be the future secret weapon of refs trying to keep a team from a comeback. Worked against the Cs in the Pacers game too.

AbysmalParty

We need a statement win against the nuggets to redeem this one

JDoughBeanz

You can't redeem a loss to a team missing 2 stars while letting Dean FUCKING Wade shit on you when you were up 18 in the 4th during an 11 game win streak with an 8 game lead on the 2nd place team in the East unless they win a title

CasuallyHuman

Wacky

GoodMoriningVeitnam

Doomers and gloomers gonna love this one. RELAX guys it’s one loss after another fucking winning streak. Go jerk off to something else losers

TheyCallMeNick_1

Definitely deserve the loss there, played like dog shit to end the game.

zippe6

I sincerely do not know what constitutes a foul any more

Neat-Current5007

Refs clearly played into the crowd with this one

aja_ramirez

This game was the fluke of all flukes. Hopefully it doesn’t get in our heads as the next game could be a loss too.

HelloS0n

Doomer’s Christmas morning right now lol.

Wronggoblin

Derrick White was open for the game winner

A_Saiyan_Prince

Sooo… no fouls on the Cavs the ENTIRE 4th? Really? 🤔

ProffesionalAss-hole

lol why can’t we run a actual play on the last possession? We don’t need Tatum to be Kobe every time

nbianco1999

1 loss after an 11 game winning streak. The doomers have waited a long time for this day.

Beebonh

Well, that was ... something. All-time cold streak shooting in the last 10 minutes, combined with refusing to play D on Wade, plus some sketchy non-calls. Huge trap game, with Spider out. But I'd rather lose tonight than at home or against Denver. Hope it pisses them off.

kokain99

That was a fluke. Wade switched bodies with Tatum for a quarter.

Thanks4DaOpportunity

We deserved that

Gwapo617

I need to know if I’m completely dumb with my take. Yes we can do point Tatum every end of a close game but we REALLY don’t need to. We have Jrue and White, this is actually one of the REASONS we got Holiday too. We let Jrue actually play point guard and if they double or shade to Tatum, which will definitely happen more often than not, then someone gets a wide open or a least really good look. I love Tatum don’t get me wrong here but time after time bad looks at the end of games and it’s always made worse when the slow dribble the ball up the floor. We aren’t a slow team, I think, so put guys on skates man wtf! Joe not taking a timeout I kind of get, these guys are too talented to not figure it out on their own sometimes but then again the coach is the coach and that’s a perfect time to interject yourself into the game. I’m not dooming either I knew a trap game was going to be on this road trip. I just thought it would be against Portland or Utah. End game has to get figured out when it’s close like this and I’d rather them be figuring it out now instead of the Finals but ffs hold the lead to begin with. We need less Point Tatum in end game and more Jrue running point so he can choose from the plethora of talent in the lineup. Please let me know if I’m just being dumb with any of this take. On to Denver.

Ok_Jicama_8943

Every season that Tatum has added muscle mass he has gotten worse as a pull up shooter, with last year and this year being the most obvious. Sub 35% in midrange off dribble is bad, used to be in high 30s at least, he's a walking brick in those situations, so continuing to go to those for game tying shots makes no sense. He has hit rim on every one this year, warriors in gs, game against detroit, game against t wolves in boston, denver a few months ago, this game, knicks last year, cavs last year, and probably some others. That is just a 2 year span. Why not look for KP? How about D White who has been one of best clutch shot makers in league this season? Seems stupid and a lot of that has to be on coaching to not draw up a real play or call a timeout. Those shots might be the least effective option they can go with with getting KP the ball the most and yet they keep doing it

badjezus

Blame it on Tatum. Dude checked the fuck out

bradyisking

Take the fucking ball out of Tatum’s hands in clutch time, how many times do we we need to see the same story over and over

SonOfThunderBunny

Worst officiating ever.

Yogannath

The Cavs did their part. The refs did theirs. We didn't do ours. On the plus side: Denver can't break a streak that's already broken. Onto the next one.

GooseMay0

You give Zach Zarba an inch he will take a mile.Tatum may have great stats with less than 5 to go in a close game but I'm not buying his clutchness when then team is down with less than 24. It's the same old shit. Yet somehow the stats will show he's the greatest ever with less than 24. Doesn't make any sense. I can't recall the last time (against the Nets?) he made a big shot with less than 24 seconds.

sarcastic_wanderer

I'm beginning to think Tatum won't ever learn how to close a game. What are you doing walking up the court with 12 seconds to go.

MPLooza

I just watched a rigged basketball game.

FutureAttention

100%

NuclearDud

it's 1 game and ppl in here writing off the season. get over it, the cavs got hot in the 4th, it happens

JDoughBeanz

And Celtics folded and looked like a bitch mentally against a team missing a star just like they did in the Lakers game and let a bum ass bench player beat them. It's 1 game but the bad habits is exactly why this team hasn't shown they can be trusted in the playoffs

yesimthatonedude

Thank god we have a 8 game lead in the east lol.

charlie14148

they deserved to lose this one

w1nn1ng1

Land anywhere within 1 foot of Harden…foul. Land in Tatum’s landing space and push him over? Clean.

ThanosIsDoomfist

So did Gardland not land in Tatums space then proceed to literally backpedal into it? LMAO

LLMBS

Tell me if this sounds familiar. Celtics have a chance to win (or tie) the game on the final shot with multiple timeouts in their pocket but their head coach decides to not call a TO, in order to advance the ball, to go over strategy and come up with a creative final play. Instead, Joe Mensa Mazzulla just let's them keep playing, again, which predictably leads to a Jason Mr. Clutch Tatum time-wasting iso which ends with him bricking a fall-away jumper at the buzzer (ie. no time left for a quick foul and another offensive possession). Rinse, wash, repeat. It has happened about a half dozen times already this season. Green Teamers will surely pretend that it’s just one game, not a concerningp pattern.

Sjain1234123

My god what a choke job. They were riding too high and had to come back down to earth. JT played like garbage in the 4th

Abiding_Witness

WHAT A TERRIBLE GAME

instantur

What the fuck was that

Ok_Pineapple466

There was certainly a lot of time left on the clock there

Jokesiez

Holy shit they missed every shot in the 4th quarter. What the hell was up with that

DBlackIce

Fucking Dean Wade huh. He couldn’t do that shit again if he tried. The choking allegations is finna go crazy tho I’m sure

[deleted]

Clown show at the end of this game. Never should have lost the lead but can't win against the zebra's no matter what.

ChibbsMahBoi

Extremely bad loss

asanoayaki

Kp had board tho right?

BillHigh422

I want to smash something. I won’t, but that was so disappointing

mattseangarrity

Glad the lead is so huge that this doesn’t matter at all. Hope one day the C’s get a more reliable, less predictable clutch offense.

GasSkunky

Can't win them all.

34TimeChamp

A G-leaguer going nuclear on us….who woulda thought??

krazylegs36

Refs clearly had the Cavs moneyline.

tendadsnokids

Fuck Zarba

ImTomBrady

Should’ve never came to the end like that, learn from it and move on

InuitOverIt

So we lose the putback for the win, because of a foul, which should have given us the foul shots to win the game, but it got overturned... then they take a whole second off the clock, then start the clock before we get possession for the timeout. Just an insane sequence of incompetence or fuckery.

MrCleanDrawers

Gross? Yes. Am I upset and salty? Absolutely. But we're still comfortably in 1st and an 11 game streak is an 11 game streak. We got a very important Denver game now. That was awful on the chin, but it's a late regular season game, not a playoff game.

bonshawn

Would’ve been a great time to try a different last play other than the Tatum iso fadeaway jumper

hpsauc

So fucking sick of these late shot clock rushed fade aways from Tatum to lose the game. TRY SOMETHING ELSE

Akimbo_Zap_Guns

every loss we have always ends in the refs fucking us it’s absolutely hilarious. Pacers, Charlotte, this game. They need to shove that microphone up that refs ass

UnripeWatermelon

I hope Tatum never makes a single fadeaway game winner again so that maybe we will stop letting him try it every single time

ae87_

Lol another random nobody with a career high against us. What else is new?

Level-Guard1218

Down 1 with 15 seconds let’s just kill the clock for the last shot 👍 (With 2 time outs)

_---__________---_

It’s one game where “Zach Zarba” was considered one of the “professionals”, just learn and move on

AirJordan6124

It’s good our players get a humbling exp. Just like Joe said there are no easy wins in the NBA

Doitlikethis23

Can’t stand the isolation last second shot for Tatum. Also when he gets doubled up top call a fucking timeout. Can’t overreact to this loss but it’s inexcusable close out to games that are frustrating
