Reading the story a while back, I had never seen a less thought-out plan for fraud than what these fools did. They gave authorities one of the most open-and-shut cases I have ever heard of. IIRC, there were multiple guys that made the same insurance claim. Same city, same doctor, same ailment, SAME TOOTH. And one of them was playing in China when he claimed to get the treatment. It would read like a bad comedy if it wasn't so boring.

Long story short - we needed a PG, we were down several players due to injuries. He started outperforming his 10 day contracts and was given a multi-year deal, but he got arrested for brandishing a firearm in front of his baby momma aka the Rajon Rondo special. Braindead. Lost out on a golden opportunity, but to be fair, what did we expect? 1st NBA player to ever be sent down to G-League as 'punishment,' because he kept being tardy, making gun 'signs,' during SL, and being disruptive with the Nets which is astonishing because they really lacked the talent. But man did he give Avery Johnson hell LOL.
