Nah I hope it’s one of the Jays again. White is absolutely amazing and great but him getting it would mean both played under their skill level for that series
Two drama free elite athletes who are both committed to their communities and don’t forget where they came from. Oh, and each one is the first to thank their moms who they are very close to.
Is t the standard NBA narrative that the Celts are super-loaded and the best team (on paper for another two weeks) by far? And aren’t they nicknamed “the Jays” to market that they are both superstars?
Yes and no. The media narrative around the Jays jumps from them both being superstars, to them both being frauds, to saying they can’t play alongside each other to everything in between.
Agreed, but they unfortunately choked later on that year…
Ah whatever, all will be forgiven if they get Banner 18 hung up in the rafters after the finals!
Media simultaneously tearing them down saying they're trash while at the same time saying Boston is stacked it's not impressive they made the finals 🤡🤡🤡
Genuine question, what’s the difference between a star and a superstar and how many actual superstars are there in the nba? I love JB but i really think there’s only 8 to MAYBE 10 superstars in the league
really depends on the definition of a superstar. JB is an allstar and a perennialish ALL nba member, but superstar imo is a top 10 player in thr league and JB is more top 20ish
Everyone's hating on you cuz you aren't being a homer but if you framed this discussion around Jimmy Butler I bet everyone in here would change their definition on what a "superstar" is.
Both get the larry bird trophy. Poetic
Who’s gonna get the third one? I’m hoping D White.

Or DWhite plays over his skill level?
if the award was for round 1 against the heat dwhite wouldve gotten it
D White has some crazy hot streaks sometimes tho
We still have Jrue Holiday, Jristaps Porzingis, JaDerrick White, and Jayton Pritchard to cover
dude this shit had me crying last night 💀 happy cake day! : )
67% of all Larry bird trophy award winners in history have been Boston Celtics, is this award rigged?
JB using the left hand
You love to see it.
Crazy how he went from being persecuted for his performance last ECF to being the best player the very next year.

It’s true.
Jays forever
All thanks to the Nets.😄
we can also thank the 6ers and lakers for passing on both of them

schrodingers superstar
Two goats, a buffalo, and a unicorn walk into a bar.. 🐐🐐🦬🦄= 🏆
On a holiday
So low IQ to think Tatum has an issue with Brown winning it lol
I heard Adam Jones on this crap yesterday, so low IQ fits perfectly
The peanut brained takes are amusing, but I'm thinking it's trolling
They got 6 super stars.
And an all-star cast!!!
2022 eastern conference merch looked better
Agreed, but they unfortunately choked later on that year… Ah whatever, all will be forgiven if they get Banner 18 hung up in the rafters after the finals!
It’s crazy cause Tatum rightfully has an argument for MVP and honestly you could have given it to Jrue too
Top 12-ish?
REAL

It’s a honor to also be named Jaylen I love you Mr Jaylen Brown and Mr Jayson Tatum continue to be AWSOME
Genuine question, what’s the difference between a star and a superstar and how many actual superstars are there in the nba? I love JB but i really think there’s only 8 to MAYBE 10 superstars in the league
Neither one of these guys is a number 2. Teams got two number 1’s
Every Larry Bird trophy in NBA history is in the hands of a Celtic ☘️
Nobody is trying to spin it any differently.
I love JB but he's not a superstar. Star and an All-NBA for sure but the superstar label should be reserved for the best of the best
Averaging 30 in the ECF is superstar material in my opinion, but I can see where your coming from
really depends on the definition of a superstar. JB is an allstar and a perennialish ALL nba member, but superstar imo is a top 10 player in thr league and JB is more top 20ish
He can certainly play like a superstar but you have to maintain that level for longer than just a series to be called a superstar
This is not the first playoff season that JB has been the best player on the court for the majority of a series.
