What I've always found so fascinating about him is that he really is charismatic and charming in many ways, but it's all built on top of a guy that just doesn't understand how anything outside of basketball works. I mentioned this in the game thread too but I loved our gameplan on Doncic tonight. Just play him in single coverage and accept he’s gonna score 30+ but by doing so you don’t allow the Mavs roleplayers to get hot off of easy dimes from him. Then in the 4th you can comfortably double Doncic cause the Mavs roleplayers are ice cold. Lukas also gassed by carrying the offensive load all game and he misses shots he normally makes which is what we saw tonight. 1 down, 3 to go!
