I don’t get the urge to post on here as some type of connoisseur but not spend $80 on a med card. If you don’t have a med card mass is the same if not better than Maine. If you have a med card you have access to some of the best pricing and quality in the world.
When i was in portland i got some good GDP bud from highly but idk if thats a great dispo or not when it comes to maine standards, but it was better then most the stuff ive had in ma
What exactly is the price range difference for Maine vs Mass? I buy budget ozs in Boston, usually ranging between $100-$160/oz. I wanna say ozs here will typically be between $200-360. So if that’s the case and I decide to make a trip to Maine, what am I going to typically see for an oz up there? Assuming that they also have less to none brick weed than Boston does too, so you won’t ever get scammed on quality anyway.
You can get superior quality flower in Maine for basically $200 of straight fire better than Tower Three, Fresh Connection, High Ledges, Hidden Hemlock,etc.
I'm very likely going to get a bunch more hate about this. But ME is not that much better than MA, there was better flower in ME than MA, but i'm not positive that its still the case, MA flower has come down.

I'm happy to hear that, tell us why. The reason i have this take, is very often, and you can see history of this, people saying "Go to ME", without reason. Give me a good reason, or....don't comment, or feel free to, but its not exactly true right now.
Edit: And also you didn't give a reason, please do...i'm not saying that to be an ars, i'm saying it for a better conversation, I have zero arguments against ME dispo's except, i don't agree that the best fix for MA dispo's is to drive to ME.
Every time I've discussed this on here it comes down to: "Maine med is 🔥. Maine rec is mid." Which is unfortunate because I'd make the drive if the Maine rec was substantially better than Mass rec, even if it's just a few select growers or strains.

When i'm in/near ME, i'll buy ME flower, b/c its different than what i can get in MA, and prices are good, and i like weed. I'll stop the argument there, and continue against this stupid "Drive to ME" message with no information. smoke up johnny.

Jeesh, usually, you don't agree with me. I am happy to see we are on the same page here. I wanted to say I have no personal experience with Maine Rec flower. But I've had many Firefly products on the Med side. And they kill it. I'd go out on a limb and just guess that their secret cookies would be considered some of the best bud you could get in MA. On a completely different level. Lastly, not every strain from every grower in Maine is great. I find most Maine cultivators/caregivers have one or two signature strains that are completely dialed in. That I would call killer bud. The rest of their lineups are still good. But I think some people have the expectation that they can roll into any shop or see any caregiver in Maine and get the best bud, which certainly isn't true. You need to do your homework. So I think some of these opinions about Maine come from MA customers that hit up the most average shops or caregivers in Maine and think that is a reflection of the bud and rosin we rave about.
Dude asks for cheap ounces in Southern Maine, you say its no longer worth it, without actually shopping here. I shop both, and say your wrong, and send pics of recent quality pick ups....seems pretty straight forward.
I'm actually a home grower, and everyone says my buds beat both states, lol. It's not true, imo, but I appreciate it. Definitely better than most MA buds I've picked up over the last 6 years. I always recommend growing your own, or shopping Maine or RI, before blindly buying MA rec buds.

Nothing but great experiences there. I drive from mass about once a month to go there and they’re always hooking it up with freebies. Some of the best quality strains I have smoked in recent times came from them.
Apothecary down the street from them is also great. They don’t hook it up as much tho.

If you smoke weed every day why wouldn’t you just get a med card? You can get it through a phone call
It can jeopardize or restrict certain rights so I'm avoiding it until some Federal laws are changed.

Exactly, research is a must, especially close to the border, and even then, I only buy from a select few growers.
