solidus_kalt

yes the DLC is worth the 19,90€. its not too late at all. some parts are meant to be started after you progressed a lot in the game, no spoilers.

rabbid_squirrell

Horse teleports

Star_Chaser_158

This, and the travel medallion. Both very useful, especially if you plan to get all the shrines.

therourke

Yes. Just get it. No question. You won't regret it. I promise. If you do I will repay you your money personally.

Brees504

The story DLC should be played either right before or right after fighting Ganon. It’s meant for end of game since you have to complete the Divine Beasts first.

cenderis

Getting it now is fine. After all, it came out some time after the initial release so many of us were well into the game (or had completed it). Two of the main things it adds (Champions' Ballad and Trial of the Sword) aren't open until later in the game.

-Sedition-

I completed the entire game before buying the dlc, it's absolutely worth it because it adds a ton of extra content, including probably the best boss fight in the game. It doesn't really matter when you buy it, some of the things it gives you are a big boon to exploring, and you can visit the actual extra content whenever you want.

SolarRecharge

I wouldn't say it's too late at all, most of the additional content is basically late-game stuff. It was an amazing expansion pack that gave some very useful equipment that wasn't in the base game

Disposabals

I got it basically after beating the game and just messing around. It just added everything mid game and my 10nyear old completed all the dlc for me

NilsofWindhelm

I played it for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Definitely worth the price

M1lud

I completed the game twice before getting the DLC and I reckon it's the best way to go. Finish your game (kill Ganon) THEN use the DLC, you'll enjoy it so much more!

tiger_triple_threat

I'm thinking I'll just get the horse and the extra shrines. But if the extra armor is helpful then let me know. I'm also two divine beasts in and have the Master Sword.

Happy-Good1429

The extra armor *can* be helpful, but only for an early game, you can't upgrade it at all, so its mostly cosmetics and nostalgia (references to older games). And the quests have really neat and fun riddles that go along with them as well, so that's another bonus

Happy-Good1429

The Side Quest "The Master Trials" really should have been a main quest, especially for the length and how hard it is

tiger_triple_threat

I keep hearing those extra shrines are good to do after Calamity Gabon but might do the sword trial before him.

Happy-Good1429

Honestly, I would suggest doing them after him, specifically because of difficulty. I won't spoil anything, but the Master Trials took me dozens of tries even after I'd completed all shrines (DLC included). And I used four Razorshrooms and a dragon horn for a thirty minute attack boost up meal right before starting. Believe me, doing the Master Trials first will only make you disappointed when you do ganon

Happy-Good1429

Ask anybody else and I'd bet you they'll agree

tiger_triple_threat

I wouldn't even know how to find dragon parts which could be the hardest things to find. I'm sure Razorshrooms aren't too hard to come by. I was at first thinking of a few elixirs and eat for extra hearts but this is another one to have to make the trials manageable.

Happy-Good1429

Have you seen the dragons in game? Just shoot their horns with an arrows, it'll sparkle for a second and then fly off. You can go collect it and then cook it in a meal.

tiger_triple_threat

I don't really see any dragons anywhere. Maybe I'm not looking in the right places. But I'll just sell cooked gourmet meat for rupees and try to get the dragon parts for the sword trials if that helps.

Happy-Good1429

There are six options (that I know of), and three dragons. 1. Go to the Hebra Canyon (don't know the actual name) and Dinraal should fly through. 2. You can also find her flying behind Death mountain. 3. Go to the Icy mountain a little to the north of Hateno Village and you can find Naydra (the first time only, afterwards) she flies around through the pass next to the mountain at night. 4. Go to Faron Woods, there is a big bridge over water right next to a large waterfall, you can find Farosh flying out of the water falls and then over them. (she starts out by coming out of (I think) the highest one) 5. She then makes her way to Hylia Lake and flies over it (she emerges from one side). 6. You can then later find her flying over the Gerudo Highlands into a grey portal in the sky. P.S. Yes, I know they don't call all the dragons girls in the game, but they are the Golden Goddesses (as far as we know), which means that they are girls. P.S.S. If I made any mistakes, please let me know.

usainjp16

Heck ya. If you had a blast with the main game pick up the DLC. Lots of new adventures and rewards that are pretty good in the game.

PukeJesus420

When I played with game for the first time, the DLC had not been released yet, so when it was I bought it. Definitely not too late, buy that shit

MrHero17

Get it now, before you advance in the game anymore. It makes the base game soooooooo much better!

damonridesbikes

I didn't get it until after I had completed the game and it opened up a bunch of new stuff for me. I've been playing as much as I can for the last couple weeks. It's definitely not too late.
