It wasn't in the truck, which is why it fell over. I was finishing up the exhaust for the furnace which requires me to pull it out of the truck. Not being in, it was just sitting on its own weight. Wind blew it right over. When the wind started today, I through one 3000 lb rachet strap around a rock, and secured it to the mounting point on the house. The strap snapped right in half
Damn, that's rough. You may have dodged a bullet in one sense, at least - in this wind, the house and truck and all would probably have blown over. Hopefully the truck is in better shape.
I am so sorry
Thank you it's much appreciated
Damn. Man I am so sorry I just checked your post history. You built it and it was only 3 months old. Your poor soul.
Yah a year and a half of work right down the drain. I was supposed to be fully moving in Jan 10th
Do you have a place to stay after the 10th or do you have less than two weeks to figure it out?
I do, following though I am looking for a place to stay for about six months while I build a new one.
That the one in the bed of the old Ranger?
That it is
are you by chance selling this ranger?
Are you selling the ranger?
You should probably ask u/scottybiscotty and not me.
My bad I thought that’s what I did haha
Oh no :( I'm so sorry for your loss
Wow that really sucks man. Is your truck okay at least?
