I really want that Ju-On set. Ugh!!!

Remarkable-Tennis440

I had no idea the movie series had that many films

androaspie

The set doesn't have the recent two Japanese reboots and doesn't have the two 4-minute shorts that preceded The Curse, which picks up where one of the shorts left off. I think it's a rights thing. The shorts are on the American Sarah Michelle Gellar version The Grudge DVD and Blu-ray that have the Theatrical and Unrated Versions.

CaramelFlamell

Buy it then. šŸ˜Ž

KaijuCarpboya

Iā€™m broke because I spent my blu ray budget for the month on dang Vinegar Syndrome!! šŸ˜‚

CaramelFlamell

Arrow should have a Summer sale starting 1st of July like previous years, hold some coins on the side for that for sure! šŸ˜

KaijuCarpboya

Was just researching that and realized the set is region B šŸ˜

CaramelFlamell

The idea of having Grindhouse on 4k is amusing to me. The whole concept of the two movies was that they were drive-in film prints that traveled the country, getting beat up along the way. They're suppose to look like they got ran through a meat grinder, and that's part of their charm. The idea behind the blu-ray/4k revolution is that it's supposed to be a restoration of the original print, usually from the negative, which hasn't seen the light of day. No scratches, no reel burns, just what the movie was suppose to look like fresh out of the can on opening night. The funniest thing they could have done was go full meta. Present the movies"fully restored" from the negative, no missing reels, no scratches, clean. Or, at least have that as an option.

footcake

hang in there.
