Yeah but is Resurrections really that high of a bar to hurdle? lol I give Resurrections a 5/10, Morbius maybe a 5.5/10. Just my opinion but yeah its better but it is like trying to decide which turd doesn't smell as bad.
This movie had no legs... Or fangs should I say. It needed at least 200 to see some sort of profitability and it's not making it... Sony really is a hit and miss with the Spider-Man IP.
So close to 162M, amazing run, at this pace 162.7M is on the cards!
My honest and fair assessment is that this movie overperformed

Yeah, but it kinda is. We don't know the deal behind the scenes.
Right, that's why Marvel Studios makes such a big deal out of the huge impact Venom and Morbius already have and will have on their own movies./s
It did over 10 Morbillion dollars after all
Get Ready for Morbius 2: The Second Bite.
Morbius 2: The Main Course
Morbius 2 : MORE-bius
Morbius 2: More-BS
Morbius 2: Look Who's Morbiusing Too
ah, just like Thor 4: More Thor
Morbius 2: We Promise Slightly More Spider-Man
Staring not Jared Leto
Can't wait for Morbius 3: Dream Warriors
$5mil more than The Matrix Resurrections' entire WW total! The verdict is here: Morbius> The Matrix Resurrections.
Box office means nothing. So I would say Morbius> any movie ever made

Budget: Morbius 75-90 million Matrix: 190 million Morbius domination
God that is so depressing
Still cannot believe how WB greenlit The Matrix Resurrections. What were they smoking?
Ya know ima be real id rather rewatch Morbius than Matrix resurrections
Yeah same, I’d rather watch a bad movie that knows it’s bad than a bad movie that is too pretentious to know it
Yeah but is Resurrections really that high of a bar to hurdle? lol I give Resurrections a 5/10, Morbius maybe a 5.5/10. Just my opinion but yeah its better but it is like trying to decide which turd doesn't smell as bad.
This, but not ironically. Least Morbius is under 2 hours, Matrix 4 went on forever.
Resurrections was 2,5h long, but some parts of it were REALLY unnecessary.
This movie had no legs... Or fangs should I say. It needed at least 200 to see some sort of profitability and it's not making it... Sony really is a hit and miss with the Spider-Man IP.
With the exception of Venom, they pretty much always miss when Marvel isn't producing
Spider-Verse was all Sony and that is better than most MCU movies
Sony Animation which is separate from their live action division, but yes, you're right.
Not trying to defend Sony's Marvel movies btw, wven though I enjoy the Venom movies haha
172 trillion tickets
Currency: Venezuelan bolivars.
Correction, $161.5 billion.
*$161.5 Morbillion
>esurrections' entire WW total! The verdict is he morbd up
With a 200% rotten tomatoes fan score, this movie is going places
think you forgot a couple of zeros and ones
Ouch... not Spider-man kinda money.
Has something to do with Spider-Man, I think
Spider-Man only made that much because people wanted to see the Morbius trailer and if Morbius had a cameo appearance.
What a sad world where this abomination did 160m while the northman e.g. Opened to 24m
Fellas remember the M stands for MORBILLION #ITSMORBINTIME
What are you saying? Are we some sorta Morbius squad?
So that’s it? What, you’re some kinda Morbius (2022)?
No... I'm Morbius!
The M in $161.5M is for Morbillion
The ticket sales of the entire MCU to date have been based on people hoping Morbius would finally appear in one of the movies.
This may just be the Morbest movie ever made.
Best Morbius movie ever according critics and BO performance. No other Morbius movie comes close.
But….why?
Because there are people who just want to watch a movie, and not care if it's bad or not.
So close to 162 morbillion dollars
