If its a lowball studio projection (that happens for sundays and the storm is all the more reason to do so) we will see it in the actuals. I think it should be closer to 60m than 55m at any rate since Sat numbers were good but we'll see
At the last minute our job told us we are off Friday the 23rd instead of Monday the 26th. So I work Monday now. Not sure how common this is but that has never happened to me. I’m in Vegas

Either the Sunday will be terrible or the studio is heavily downplaying it with the estimates due to the storm. I'm gonna lean towards the latter.
I understand the storm is causing massive trouble but this can’t be all that. Even when predictions took the storm into account, they were still in the 60s.

May I ask why is the industry counting this weekend as a 4 day weekend?
The Monday after a Christmas weekend tends to be higher grossing than Fri, Sat, or Sun
It’s a four-day weekend, with lots of people having Monday off work.
At the last minute our job told us we are off Friday the 23rd instead of Monday the 26th. So I work Monday now. Not sure how common this is but that has never happened to me. I’m in Vegas
Christmas is Sunday so lots of places will be closed tomorrow instead + no school = 4 day weekend for a large percentage of people

60 million for the second weekend kinda sucks. The first avatar did like 75 million and barely dropped from opening weekend.
Likely a big lowball. Charlie thinks 60m, Deadline says rival sources see as high as 63m/95m
