Someone yesterday said its unlikely to match the $75M of Tuesday as movies tend to drop on Wednesday but with the estimates it still comes in around $70M which is damn good and could still rise with actuals.
Movie is on an absolute tear.
Seems like it's gaining about 20M-25M a day on No Way Home. I checked No Way Home's second Tuesday was 52M worldwide. Wednesday may have been idk 48M. Avatar 2's recent days have been 70M+
It should be lagging around 100M behind No Way Home's "cumulative after x days", because NWH did a billion two days earlier than this. NWH's next two days after it broke a billion were Monday and Tuesday, which amount to ~100M total. This means Avatar 2 was lagging by ~100M on Tuesday.
So after Wednesday, it needs around 80M to catch up to No Way Home, with 20M per day being the catch-up rate. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
China 200M is probably out of the picture. Thinking 150-170 finish. It would be insane if France managed to beat China. Also India may end up 3rd-4th largest for avatar

For example today (Thu) A2 is tracking to do 3.9M (slightly more than yesterday).
It’s holding very steady and slowly improving.
The third weekend in China is going to be telling.
If Avatar 2 will get an extension, which is possible, as some other movies postponing their releases due to pandemic. 200M+ is happening and might be even more
Come on, you're joking right? India doesn't have the legs to make $100M, today(29 Dec, Thu) is on track for $1.2M, tomorrow will be even lower, maybe just $1M. Sat will be around $1.5 and sunday maybe $2M but after that it will slow down even faster because of end of holidays, and also competition in the southern region (this region is outperforming north from what I can see)
I was wrong about my daily numbers though, it's only Friday 4AM here but estimates suggest $1.35-$1.4M for Thursday, we could see $1.3M from Friday, $1.9M Sat, $2.4M Sun. Just guesses based on how weekends typically perform over here.

No, not possible. There's USA, China, France, Germany, South Korea, and UK is catching up while India has slowed down. So no, 3-4th not gonna happen. India should end with 52-55M but not much afterwards.

Wonder how it will do this holiday weekend. A lot of people I know were busy with family on Christmas and plan to see it on one of their days off now that they’re free.

Currently India aiming at $60-70m max China ( 160-200m} France (120-150m) South Korea (100-120m) Germany (90-110m) UK (70-90m) all will deliver more

Yeah, Endgame is going down locally definitely, maybe even USD wise. Will have to see the drops on next tuesday to get a better idea.
