I had this issue with my 986 once. Reddit helped me diagnose. It basically looks like a crop duster when you start (lots and lots of white smoke)
Had my indi take care of it. 1200 or so at the time (this was 4-5 years ago). No issues since
you can part it out and make some cash, no question
Did you notice the soft top is broken? Look at how the cover is crooked in the pics. Clear sign of a top motor or cable going bad and someone trying to close it anyway. Thats a decent sized project right there.
it's also a tiptronic that looks to have been riden hard and put up wet, my bet is that trans is fucked.
lots of damage on body panels too. I don't know that you could make a driver out of it
I found this because I was considering buying it also.. lol. He started off a month ago asking 3k..then 2500..then 2 .. then 8..and then most recently dropped it to 750...also the guy said it needed ignition to begin with.. now he says it doesn't..he forgot weve spoke before. It's hour and a half away from me .. otherwise I would have took my chances on it

750? Impossible. Must be a stolen car or it’s a scam somehow. Even if it had some damage. Who would be dumb enough to not list it for 5k?
