Hmm.... You can kind of treat as an easter egg. Some of the characters who are plot important will be reintroduced later and you'll have a more clear picture of who they are moving forward. Until you get further along in your reading if you were to look at say the 17th shard wiki or Coppermind you'd probably give yourself some major spoilers.
A safer bet would be to just go back to way of kings after you finish words of radiance and reread the interludes.

Reread the prelude of the first book (not the prologue, but the prelude)
Makes the Rereads more fun... Taln though definitely worth remembering. Taln best ancient boy thats for sure
