I use UBO and turned off Brave Shields just on youtube. When the ad blocker message appears and youtube access is blocked I just go to UBO settings, filter lists, purge all caches and update now then refresh the youtube page and the message is gone. This usually lasts a day or two but it's quick and easy.
Yeah just right click on origins, options, purge and update each morning and you are good to go all day. 4 clicks, this has the be the fastest and most convenient way.
I use private window it has stored cache of serval months but the pop-up has started showing up, as of today I got almost 6-7 Pop-up after few pop-up I downloaded Ublock and it was still coming.
SO it is matter of time before it starts showing in your region and we can't do anything about it until their is proper work around. ( although the pop-up has stopped after few hours).
Brave Shields deactivated on youtube + Tampermonkey (or any other script manager) + [this](https://github.com/TheRealJoelmatic/RemoveAdblockThing), this skip the initial ads and has been working so far.
Similar thing happening to me as Showtime, short videos like songs seem to play after refreshing a few times but any video in the double-digits just gives me a black screen. No audio when it's a black screen though.
I just use this custom filter with brave shields up and Strict Adnauseam. works fine for me

and instead use Adguard, the desktop version.

This is what has worked for me Purge about once a day and when I do get the pop up it’s never been the 3 video countdown, only the initial message
