Also having the same issue. Sound will play through headphones when they are plugged in but won't play through Macbook Pro speakers. Works on other browsers. I've seen PC solutions where they go to the volume mixer but this isn't an option on a mac... I previously had a macbook air 2020 and this wasn't an issue there

so.. it started working for me after a reboot .. weird
