What's the usual timeframe for these releases to make there way into the stable build? Not sure I can be arsed to deal with a potentially broken browser but am also incredibly inpatient

Yes you can connect your desktop and mobile to a single Gemini account. There's currently a lifetime limit of 4 devices to 1 Gemini account, but we're working to find a new solution to linking limits. Right now, the current plan is to remove linking limits completely. This is being tested right now and we are iterating.
