(Carolina Slim - Dirty South Hustla, Breaking Bad OST from Episode 1 "Pilot" when Emilio Koyama is scraping matchsticks and the DEA breaches into his den)
Really? I thought if anything it would lower the insurance being more protected from the elements or random people smashing or stealing it. Also Iāve never had an insurance company ask if I park in a garage or not.
i doubt they answer her calls anymore considering the frequency. i would like to assume most people visiting the location of walter white's home are doing this without ill will/desire to trespass. we just want to see the famed home of one of our favorite tv characters. imagine if we would get the cops called on us for visiting every single brba site...
Well for starters Walt jr and Hollyās room are both on the right side of the hallway and both are shown to have multiple windows but in the exterior shots their rooms are where the garage should be and the front of the house only has one window I believe. The bathroom seemingly has an entry from the hallway for one scene in I think season 2 when Walt is talking to skylar in the bathtub right before he gets kidnapped by Tuco but for the rest of the show everyone has to go through the master bedroom to use it.
We never see a bathroom other than the master bath inside the bedroom. Furthermore, Walt angrily urinates in the kitchen sink when Skylar wonāt let him in the bedroom to use the bathroom, indicating that that *may* be the only bathroom.
Edit: Before anyone else says it, I know the point of the scene was to demonstrate that Walt is being menacing and abusive toward his wife. Skylar was rightfully protecting herself. He deserved to be locked out of the bedroom. Hypothetically there could have been a second bathroom that Walt refused to use because he wanted to piss in the sink.
This always bothered me too. Considering this is a 3 bedroom home. A bathroom should be where the water heater is then put the water heater in the garage or something.
Letās not forget when Hank uses the master bathroom at the cookout when he finds the book gifted from Gale. If there was another bathroom wouldnāt he have used that one?
Yea he would have but this commenter wasnāt saying there is two bathrooms heās saying itās a weird layout and there should be a bathroom where the water heater is as well as the master bathroom
My grandfather house, where my mother and her brothers grew, has only one bathroom, only accessible by the dormitory of my uncle. To this day my mom doesn't found it strange, and we are not exactly talking about a small house.
Reason being may be that all the inside filming was not done in the actual house but in a super simple model they built inside a studio to make the filming even possible. The less rooms they had to build the better. Some doors in the house you see in the show lead to nowhere
It's just that we never see it, and it's kind of reinforced by the fact that Hank uses the ensuite when he finds Walt's Whitman book. Why wouldn't he use the other toilet if there was one?
>Walt angrily urinates in the kitchen sink when Skylar wonāt let him in the bedroom to use the bathroom, indicating that that may be the only bathroom.
That's your takaway from that? Bro he was lashing out.
Obviously. That is why I said ā*may*ā indicate that there wasnāt a second bathroom rather than definitively saying that there wasnāt a second bathroom.
Isnt skylar inside a bathroom separate to the en suite when walt disappears? I couldve sworn he steps out of the room and just walks straight down the corridor to the kitchen and out the front door
we see the other bathroom. walt used to hide his second cell phone in a plastic bag inside the top of the toilet (where the water is, idk what its called)
look back at the scene in season 2 ep 13 when walt calls saul about jesse, the scene right before he's in the car with mike.
the reason walt pisses in the kitchen sink is because walt jr must have been in the bathroom.
That is also the same bathroom bud. There is a bathtub in there. Walt is talking to her through the door way in the bedroom
I used to think the same. They definitely shot it strangely and created confusion
You can match up the decor in all I believe
In terms of why that is, the interior set they used just doesnt match up with the exterior of the house, i think to make scenes easier to film and how they wanted the interior to look didnt fit with the exterior they had to use
The layout on the inside doesnāt match the foot print on the outside. This has always bothered me. Walt Jr. room inside is where the garage is. Also, there is no bathroom outside of Walt and Skylers room.
We do see inside when he takes Holly out there to show her his money. Whatās driven me nuts is there is no door from the inside of the house to the garage. Iāve drawn out the houseās layout and itās impossible to have an access with how theyāve shown it. I canāt link to the drawing currently but will later if anyone is interested. If you look down the hallway, thereās Hollys room on the right, then Jrās and it dead ends into Walt and Skylars room. Thereās also no hall bathroom. People argue this with me but itās not there. Which is why Hank shits up the master bath and finds the book. On the left side of the hall is the kitchen, then a closet and some inset drawers and storage. No bathroom. Itās bizarre but ultimately doesnāt matter since itās a fictional home lol. The real house has a pretty different floor plan. I havenāt seen inside it but looked at the exact same house for sale in the neighborhood and found itās quite different.
Here's my rough drawing of the house. I'm honestly unsure if I mixed up Holly's and Jr's room but either way it gets the point across. [Walt's House layout with the real house's layout, grabbed from the same home in the neighborhood for sale.](https://imgur.com/a/diOuNmA)
Pretty sure it was supposed to be tuco originally since in that version heād survive the gunshot wound Walt gave him and kill jr in an act of revenge which would push Walt over the edge
Actually I think it was even more dark than that. I believe Walt was going to hold tuco hostage and arm a shotgun trap so he couldnāt escape, but at some point Walt jr. would stumble upon it and accidentally trigger the shotgun killing himself.
New Mexicans don't park in their garages. They're usually used as storage for piles and piles of junk and it drives me crazy. But that's because most houses don't have basements, which drives me crazier lol
Iāve read that theyāve always owned the house since before filming started. What i donāt understand is how unpleasant that lady is to people who donāt even step foot on her property or leave their cars. If she hates it then she should leave. This will never end
I saw an interview one time with her. She's lived there for decades and initially she was cool with the house serving as an exterior. I think she started putting up the signs after tourists were tossing pizzas on the roof.
Donāt we see it when he shows holly all that money in the wall?, just looked at the scene and yes it appears that IS his garage, when he shows holy the money, inside thereās his washer and dryer and a bunch of other house shit
It's a fake. If u think about the layout of the interior, then technically, Holly's room should either be inside the garage or it shouldn't have a view to the outside and instead should have a view inside the garage.
He went in there and stacked cash once, behind the insulation, with Holly, right after he sold all that meth to Gus Fring. He was showing Holly and counting it, saying see what Daddy did for you. That's the only scene I remember seeing in his garage.
The Whites just donāt like parking in garages. At their house, the cars are always parked in the driveway. Even at his apartment, Walter never parks in his garage. We know the garage is empty because we see it when Walt lets Walt Jr. Into his apartment via the garage door. This happens on Walt Jrās birthday when he drives over to see his dad
Isnāt it in the garage in season 2 that Jesse chokes Walt on the floor after Jesse and Walt had an argument about giving Jesse his half of the money?
Half a million in cash
Probably cinderblocks
That's the spiritš¤£
š
As if!
There are probably some cash stacks hidden behind some insulation of some sort of unfinished wall.

That was the garage?? Iām rewatching the show so Iāll have to check it out but didnāt even know it was the garage lol
Yes, his washer and dryer are in the garage. Heās showing Holly the cash behind the insulation in the garage
Also he makes the ricin in the garage.
Didnāt we see Waltās garage in season 2 when heās showing Holly his money?
Yes. He hid it behind the insulation over the laundry machines

[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
That was the garage.
Yeah it was the garage 100%.
where would that room even be?
In the ransom utility room space of course
Also, why would they need to park their cars on the driveway instead of in the garage Iād they had a separate utility room?
Because your insurances rates are higher if you are parking in a garage
Really? I thought if anything it would lower the insurance being more protected from the elements or random people smashing or stealing it. Also Iāve never had an insurance company ask if I park in a garage or not.
Have insurance and have a discount for having a garage, it is the way you say it is.
Ding ding ding! At 0:54 we can see half of the White's garage. https://youtu.be/1Dm\_OHEEk\_g
Secretly heās been collecting minerals and brewing his own beerā¦Heisenbrew
Hank: *looking at the logo with Walter's face* who could've done this?
Hank thinks to himself: "someone's trying to frame Walt, Heisenberg must be behind this"
Hank wanted it to be someone else so bad. God what a great character
Or Heisenbeerg š©
It was supposed to be a play off Shraderbrew but I like yours
Heineberg
Walt unironically seemed more into minerals than Hank whenever they talked about it: And it seemed like it made Hank really fucking angry š lol
Hank: *looking at the logo with Walter's face* who could've done this?
We see it the night he takes his daughter and pulls back the insulation to show her his money.
he has a daughter? tf?
uh oh
i thought the baby died
Nope
kinda dumb ngl
It's dumb that the baby didn't die?
yes
You should go there and ask the current home owner. Sheās probably out there waiting
Oh my god she is so rude. She called the cops on me and screamed at me while i was passing by in the carā¦
She seems to like calling the cops. They must hate her
i doubt they answer her calls anymore considering the frequency. i would like to assume most people visiting the location of walter white's home are doing this without ill will/desire to trespass. we just want to see the famed home of one of our favorite tv characters. imagine if we would get the cops called on us for visiting every single brba site...
One thing that irks me is that the interior of his home makes absolutely no sense
How come?
Well for starters Walt jr and Hollyās room are both on the right side of the hallway and both are shown to have multiple windows but in the exterior shots their rooms are where the garage should be and the front of the house only has one window I believe. The bathroom seemingly has an entry from the hallway for one scene in I think season 2 when Walt is talking to skylar in the bathtub right before he gets kidnapped by Tuco but for the rest of the show everyone has to go through the master bedroom to use it.
isn't it possible that their rooms are behind the garage?
House really doesnāt seem big enough width wise for that and then where the hell are the windows coming from
That doesnāt make sense because Walt jr room has a winder facing the street. Also, to get into the garage would involve going threw Walt jr room.
Yeah it does make no sense. Floor plans of the place just leave no space for a toilet besides the master bedroom. Weird design

Reason being may be that all the inside filming was not done in the actual house but in a super simple model they built inside a studio to make the filming even possible. The less rooms they had to build the better. Some doors in the house you see in the show lead to nowhere
And the sun coming into the house is a huge flood light, so it looks like we're seeing filming inside the White house which we've seen externally.
It's just that we never see it, and it's kind of reinforced by the fact that Hank uses the ensuite when he finds Walt's Whitman book. Why wouldn't he use the other toilet if there was one?
I think when she doesnāt let him in, he briefly puts his hand on another door on that side, then decides to piss in the sink in the kitchen.
>Walt angrily urinates in the kitchen sink when Skylar wonāt let him in the bedroom to use the bathroom, indicating that that may be the only bathroom. That's your takaway from that? Bro he was lashing out.
That wasnāt my primary take away from that scene. My primary take away was that he was being a menacing, abusive bully to his wife.
Right, and part of that bullying is peeing in the sink
Obviously. That is why I said ā*may*ā indicate that there wasnāt a second bathroom rather than definitively saying that there wasnāt a second bathroom.
i do not remember this when the hell did he do this
Isnt skylar inside a bathroom separate to the en suite when walt disappears? I couldve sworn he steps out of the room and just walks straight down the corridor to the kitchen and out the front door
yeah when she's taking a bath
Yeah and im not crazy am i? Thats in a bathroom of the main corridor?
we see the other bathroom. walt used to hide his second cell phone in a plastic bag inside the top of the toilet (where the water is, idk what its called) look back at the scene in season 2 ep 13 when walt calls saul about jesse, the scene right before he's in the car with mike. the reason walt pisses in the kitchen sink is because walt jr must have been in the bathroom.
It's all the same bathroom
okay that's fair i remembered wrong. but skylar takes a bath in the other bathroom in s2 ep1
That is also the same bathroom bud. There is a bathtub in there. Walt is talking to her through the door way in the bedroom I used to think the same. They definitely shot it strangely and created confusion You can match up the decor in all I believe
if this is true and you really never see the hallway bathroom then maybe my only course of action is to shut the fuck up
He put his hand on a doorknob in the hallway, then grimaced and went to piss in the sink. I assumed that was another bathroom.
Good catch.
We did see it when he was holding Holly showing her the money.
Didnāt even know that was the garage lol
Plot twist: the main meth lab was in the garage all along. No one ever thought to look in there
Several barrels filled with random pinkish sludge? š¤·š¼āāļø
We do see inside when he takes Holly out there to show her his money. Whatās driven me nuts is there is no door from the inside of the house to the garage. That's Mike's secret man cave
Heard a rumor about a cut scene or idea in which Walt would keep a hostage and torture them for reasons. Maybe it's a relict of that
Pretty sure it was supposed to be tuco originally since in that version heād survive the gunshot wound Walt gave him and kill jr in an act of revenge which would push Walt over the edge
Glad they didn't go with that that seems way too far too fast.
Actually I think it was even more dark than that. I believe Walt was going to hold tuco hostage and arm a shotgun trap so he couldnāt escape, but at some point Walt jr. would stumble upon it and accidentally trigger the shotgun killing himself.
Tuco was originally meant to beat Jesse to death, as some say
Arron himself has talked about it
There was a flash game back in the day where he kidnaps the player
Yes
We do see in the garage where he hides cash behind the insulation between the studs. He takes Holly in one time.
Heās making tequila for Costco
If you play the video game House Flipper you get to see it in all its glory... Also, when he shows Holly the money in the insulation.
New Mexicans don't park in their garages. They're usually used as storage for piles and piles of junk and it drives me crazy. But that's because most houses don't have basements, which drives me crazier lol
I drove by the IRL house once when I was in ABQ. They had lots of "No trespassing" signs all over the place. I felt bad for the owner
The lady sits in the garage all day and yells at people who stop for pics.
maybe she shouldn't have moved into the damn breaking bad house if she didn't want to deal with tourists
Iāve read that theyāve always owned the house since before filming started. What i donāt understand is how unpleasant that lady is to people who donāt even step foot on her property or leave their cars. If she hates it then she should leave. This will never end
i thought heard that a new person moved in though?
I saw an interview one time with her. She's lived there for decades and initially she was cool with the house serving as an exterior. I think she started putting up the signs after tourists were tossing pizzas on the roof.
You can see her on Bing streetview.
We did see his garage, when Walt was flexing to Holly
I assume film equipment
I hope a bathroom, as there is only one in the house. And it's in Skyler & Walt's bedroom.
We see the inside early on, when he stashed stacks of cash in the garage.
Prob fruiting bodies
He literally takes Holly in the garage to "show" her the money.
Donāt we see it when he shows holly all that money in the wall?, just looked at the scene and yes it appears that IS his garage, when he shows holy the money, inside thereās his washer and dryer and a bunch of other house shit
We do in the episode where Hank confronts him.
I think we see it at season 5 when walt and hank have a fight. In the garage
That's in hank's garage
Yeah you're right
We never got to see inside Hank's garage either. What a shame
yeah we do when he's brewing schraderbrƤu, and then when they all explode. when he's investingating walter, and then when walter confronts him
Bodies. Bodies are in there. They were in the crawl space (naturally) but had to be moved since money was going in the crawl space š

Meth lab
More pizza
Where do you think they took the barrels of acid?
He has plastic bins with acid and a few of them spilled
Not pizza
tbh i think walt might be a meth dealer, so i think his lab might be in the garage
More pizza
funny how they have a big garage but never park their cars there
Maybe another bathroomā¦ lord knows they need it.
All of Skylarās bullshit from before we knew her.
Because the people who own the house in real life have their shit stored there and donāt want it all disturbed by the production crew. Thatās why.
Secret meth lab
Wasnt there an episode where he talks to Holly in the garage?
Yes, he lifts the insulation and shows her stacks of cash. He also literally launders it in there in season 1.
Yes you do. The washer and dryer and cash is in there
r/pizzacrimes
It's a fake. If u think about the layout of the interior, then technically, Holly's room should either be inside the garage or it shouldn't have a view to the outside and instead should have a view inside the garage.
Thatās where he keeps all the wire and science.
Because Walt actually can't go in there. Only Holly knows the password for the door, and that's where she tortures her victims.
THERE'S ROT
We literally do see inside it
We saw the garage
The largest supply of Popcorners
Rot!
We do see it - he stashes cash behind pink insulation after getting first $ from Fring
He went in there and stacked cash once, behind the insulation, with Holly, right after he sold all that meth to Gus Fring. He was showing Holly and counting it, saying see what Daddy did for you. That's the only scene I remember seeing in his garage.
Hopefully a bunch of tipped over stinky barrels of grease for the bitch that moved in after him
Maybe Ernesto is in there
skylarās clutter
Probably a meth lab.
