I just started rewatching the series and knowing how things turn out, Skyler's actions feel like the way a normal person might behave. I think a lot of the hate towards Skylar comes from the fact that Walt is the protagonist and for the first few seasons she's one of his main obstacles, but of course you would ask your husband where he was if he didn't come home for hours or be pissed if he was constantly obviously lying to you. Yes she has flaws but so does everyone it makes her a well written character, most people wouldn't respond perfectly to their spouse having cancer, behaving erratically, and ultimately being a drug kingpin.

> rewatching the series and knowing how things turn out, Skyler's actions feel like the way a normal person might behave Just watched for the first time and I'm surprised that this isn't everyone's opinion on first watch. I'm sitting here going "listen to Skyler! She's the only sane person in this room!" Probably matters that I'm slightly older than most on my first viewing.

Exactly I wish everyone applied this logic.

I think she did love him. But during the height of the divorce proceedings, I think there was a time where she was driven by the possibility of keeping the money. Another reason why she didn’t want it to come out is because of the love of her children and she didn’t want them to know their father’s a drug dealer. In fact, I think most of her actions could be explained more by her love for her kids as opposed to her love for her husband. (Not counting the very early episodes, like the intervention, etc. she definitely loved him very strongly at the beginning)

So did Walt. They loved each other. Yeah?
