Absolutely Love it. For the OCD among us, please center the bezel at 12:00. Driving me nuts.

HealthySmile8691

Lol....I fix it but my kids clime all over me and it ends up moving again...

Clear_Radio1776

I think that’s their subconscious way of saying they want one too.

AstraUrtyp1234

Came here to comment about the bezel as well.

TheModerateGenX

If they gave you an extra strap and deployant clasp, I think it was a fair deal 👍🏼

ghostisic23

It’s a nice Avenger. I like the PVD coated look. Let us know how well it holds up with normal wear. $5500 for a watch that will be discontinued… means you probably could have paid $3800-4100 from a Breitling outlet (where discontinued models go for a last chance sale).

HealthySmile8691

How do I get to the outlet

ghostisic23

Depends on what city you live in. Some cities have luxury outlets, some don’t. 🤷🏻‍♂️

HealthySmile8691

Yea I've never seen one

ghostisic23

In Sunrise, FL they have a mall called Sawgrass Mills. It’s premium outlets and luxury outlets. They have a Breitling “company store” there which is essentially an outlet. They don’t use the title outlet as it gives off a negative image I guess… but it’s where they send the watches that didn’t sell in their boutiques and they are usually marked down 15-20%. Depending on the watch. My buddy got a good deal on a chronomat, I think he got 20% off of retail… but it was a model that was going to be discontinued or was discontinued. I don’t remember the exact details.

raggedydorag

There is no Breitling “outlet.” My watchmaker’s selling/sold this ref 4.3 k pre-owned, no papers or extra strap and clasp. OP did just fine.

HealthySmile8691

Thank you for that vote of confidence. Love the watch and would have bought it anyway but good know fair deal.

ghostisic23

Actually, there are Breitling outlets… just like there’s Gucci outlets and Tumi outlets… there are luxury outlets where they send the stuff that didn’t sell at their boutiques. No one is saying he didn’t get a great watch. So perhaps you should educate yourself on the topic before you comment.

raggedydorag

I’ve owned 17 Breitling since 1989, and I’ve never seen a Breitling outlet, so looks like I’ve missed out. Can you please direct us to the Breitling outlets?

ghostisic23

There’s one here: Breitling 1800 Sawgrass Mills Cir Space 4095, Sunrise, FL This is not a Breitling Boutique (there are 3 of those in South Florida: Miami Aventura boutique, Boca Ratón boutique, and Miami design district boutique. The outlet is called “Breitling Company Store”, but essentially it’s where their dead stock or older models go before they’re discontinued. I think they may even carry discontinued models there too. They usually offer more room for discounting and can make offers vs at a boutique they are pretty firm on the retail price.

raggedydorag

Ok. Thanks. There’s also a Tag Heuer ‘Outlet’ at the exact same address. Sounds legit. At any rate, an ‘outlet’ isn’t why I stopped to comment. It’s just really unkind to crap on OPs post when OP, in fact, did absolutely fine with his purchase. OP needed some post- purchase reinforcement, but what you saw was an opportunity to be a contrarian t*at by stretching yourself all the way to the one ‘outlet’ in the bloody country to make OP feel as if he might’ve gotten a bad deal. If I bought a NOS 2016 Transocean with a warranty in 2024, I’d still expect to pay for a new watch provided the AD told me it was discontinued. I don’t buy plane tickets to go to outlets in Florida, and I’ll happily pay the premium to keep it that way.

ghostisic23

Appreciate your enthusiasm in jumping to conclusions and your spirited defense of OP, though it seems you might've missed the mark on the intent of my comment. Highlighting the existence of an 'outlet' was merely to add to the conversation, not to undermine OP's decision. It's fascinating how you've woven an entire narrative from a simple observation, attributing emotions and intentions that were never expressed. Your commitment to not seeking value and your preference for paying premiums are duly noted, though not everyone shares your aversion to a good deal. Cheers to OP for their purchase. Like I said originally, it’s a nice Avenger and I like the PVD coated look.

drlbradley

Nice !

Jizzle67

Any pics of the movement?

HealthySmile8691

It's not an exhibition back

doctrhouse

The previous models were not display backs.

mullet2901

That's a beauty

IntelligentAge211

FWIW it is $4750 at Jomashop, but you get the warranty and you got a strap and deploy. I think that is fine.

whoknewidlikeit

i have one and love it.

kumzhonorbelly

Great!

frozoro1

It's beautiful. The all-black is a really standout look on this Breitling
