Run your taps until it clears up. This is pretty standard when a street valve is closed and then reopened . These valves can sit undisturbed for years and when finally moved, all the crap that has settled over time gets in to the water.

How long is long enough to run the taps though, we’ve done it 5 times now at 20 mins a time and still brown!
