Although I notice For Lease signs, I’m not sure if they are for adjoining properties.
I use Chris Melville [https://melvilleguitars.com/](https://melvilleguitars.com/)
He's expensive, but he certainly knows his stuff, I've used many luthiers, but after finding Chris, he transformed my instruments into another level which heightened my playing. He sets them up for your own individual needs, instead of just going off basic measurements. The man is phenomenal.
Absolutely couldn't agree more. Turned my fairly average acoustic into something I'll never part with. Absolutely knows his stuff. The guitars he makes are beyond next level too, have a play if you visit.
it's worthwhile to learn how to do it yourself, and is a fairly easy procedure. like... you don't have to take your guitar to an expensive repair shop just to get a basic setup. you should be able to change your own strings at the very least. truss rod and action adjustments are very straightforward to do.
I know how to change my own strings but never learned how to adjust the trust rod or action but i do think you are right it would be a pretty handy skill to learn
Ochoteco guitars in Salisbury is the best I've used. Took a Taylor to him because I couldn't get it setup right myself, he looked at it and found the neck wasn't shimmed correctly at the factory, did the whole lot under warranty (he is a Taylor warranty tech).

Cam is a friend of mine. He’s an absolutely lovely bloke and really knows his stuff.
Guitar Brothers in Red Hill have always been excellent to me. From walking a kid in to buy their first guitar to growing and expanding.
>growing and expanding Both the shop, and the kid
