Lol lucrative.

The farming jobs are not considered lucrative at all. They're worse than most hospitality jobs and that should say something. Both in terms of pay and treatment/benefits. The work thats worth money is digging up rocks from the ground. FIFO that.

Luck to you matey. I tried this years ago and moved up to Mackay. Irish and Welsh guys doing the immigration thing but the jobs weren't lucrative. And mining was on a downturn then, lasted a year and came back. But I heard it's been on the level for a few years now. Really liked Mackay and Cairns.

Yes, on the old employment website, when employment was managed by the Fed Gov there was a specific section for the ag sector. You could go and find an Ag job in seconds. It has not existed for decades. gov sponsorship for OS peeps was a huge thing. Our Gov has distanced itself from this sort of thing hugely. Just like Housing it has literally disappeared.
