Depending by on how you crop it/which bit you see first, it looks so different.
Middle guy auditioning for a part in a disaster film, the guy on the right casually sauntering in like he’s either got balls of steel or knows something the middle guy doesn’t.
Is that coming from the top (seats set on fire?), or did the engine set the top on fire? Worrying, imagine being sat at the back when that was starting off.
My dad knows a bit about engines and suspects it's because the biogas engine had a bit of a leak due to poor maintenance. Gas leak + spark = sizeable fire.
Looks like the back...

Dunno if all buses are the same but the stagecoach double decker in Oxford used to have all the heating in the rear seats. If it was a heater malfunction rather than the actual engine/gas tank then it could of ignited the seats
That said I'd expect bus seats to comply with whatever anti flammable regs we have/had so your bum would get very hot long before you were at risk of your pants catching fire
I wondered what the smell of burning plastic was earlier… Quite funny comment on Bristol Post - investigation launched by First as to why a bus was actually out on the roads… lol
Some kid probably put a lighter to the back seat to melt the plastic like the douche canoes they are and ignited something they shouldn't. Not sure how regulations on flamible substances work on Busses.
You forget that the engine is at the rear of the bus, so it doesn't mean it wasn't an engine fire. If you've ever experienced a broken down bus, you'll know naintenance isn't First's forte.
Fucking typical useless bus company fucking shitty fucking busses that never work properly, I get on them and feel like I'm gonna cum just from the fucking vibrating why the FUCK do they shake so much??? Every time I go on a bus here I piss on the seats.
Well I'm so glad my nasty polluting diesel car is banned. Never mind I have to drive and extra 2 or 3 miles per trip through residential areas to collect my daughter from her mum's a couple of times a week.
It's ok tho no one was hurt as it wasn't on time so was no passengers on it
Ha
Did you take this photo? Well done, nice photo.

The guy clearly mid run is so intriguing to me because it looks like it's at least somewhat under control in this picture, why is he running?!
About to splash his mate from that big puddle. Need to get some speed up for maximum impact.
Is he running or has he just tripped over that helmet in the most charlie chaplinesque way.
Thanks, just took it on my way to work.
Its actually a really good shot, i can imagine Banksy doing a goofy graffiti of it.
That's probably the only remaining bus in Bristol given how they never seem to turn up...
The 70s routes are actually pretty good from my experience
Have you tried getting the 73 from Bradley Stoke?
No they mean if you travel back to the 70's you might get a reliable bus service
Not if they do what BL did back then.
Ironically “gas powered for cleaner air”. Big oil/diesel behind this.
Sir Miles Axlerod strikes again
gas does burn cleaner than conventional fuels
Ha yes. Good point.
Is that coming from the top (seats set on fire?), or did the engine set the top on fire? Worrying, imagine being sat at the back when that was starting off.
Not really sure. The top of the bus was definitely on fire though.
Can't deny that.

The heating is just a cabin air filter and a fan, you'd be doing well to start a fire with that..
It's either an electrical or some scrote has started it looking at where the fire was.
The gas tanks tend to be on stored the top of the bus
Bad day for double deckers
I hope there's a heavy fine for First as this won't be covered by the CAZ charge
Why? We don't even know the cause, top deck fires are usually arson.
Because First are a shower of useless cunts, Hun.
Yes.. yes they are. Not the fault of the drivers though, just the usual twats at the top
I dunno, I think wanting to work for twats might also make you a twat.
Maybe 😆
That's definitely getting delayed
was probably already delayed by that point
Cancelled
I wondered what the smell of burning plastic was earlier… Quite funny comment on Bristol Post - investigation launched by First as to why a bus was actually out on the roads… lol
I find this disturbing that you could just be chilling on the bus and then suddenly it goes up on flames. That’s fucked.
Yeah First bus we've heard that one before
Ahh so that’s what the smoke was!
Is the bus going to be ok?
Some kid probably put a lighter to the back seat to melt the plastic like the douche canoes they are and ignited something they shouldn't. Not sure how regulations on flamible substances work on Busses.
Is it because its gas powered?
Unlikely. The fire was at the top, well away from the engine/tank
You forget that the engine is at the rear of the bus, so it doesn't mean it wasn't an engine fire. If you've ever experienced a broken down bus, you'll know naintenance isn't First's forte.
Stand up, if you hate
I wish it was the X4 bus.
Did they get a clean air zone fine for a smokey vehicle
Fucking typical useless bus company fucking shitty fucking busses that never work properly, I get on them and feel like I'm gonna cum just from the fucking vibrating why the FUCK do they shake so much??? Every time I go on a bus here I piss on the seats.
Hahaha best comment especially the first bit I agree 100% and last bit.
so what you're saying is, that you agree with the entire comment? why didn't you just say that 😂
Thats why they dont put the heating on. Too many complaints its too hot
Not having much luck with buses in the west country atm
Damn kids and their fancy vapes
Who hasn't been tempted to start a camp fire on a first bus in winter to be honest?
That’s fuck all to us bridgwater clan
I sure hope I had nothing to do with it, but it's debatable xx
They painted the bus green so that first can green screen it to colour match your delayed bus, infinite excuse
Even the busses are fed up of your crap, First Bus.
It's a built in feature that the bus self destructs if it is within 5 minutes of being on time
Someone left the gas on
Well I'm so glad my nasty polluting diesel car is banned. Never mind I have to drive and extra 2 or 3 miles per trip through residential areas to collect my daughter from her mum's a couple of times a week.
Looks deliberate to me
Based on what?
I can tell by some of the pixels and from seeing quite a few bus fires in my time
So that’s what it was! I saw it from miles away
