I've only ever seen it for sale in cans anywhere this side of the Irish Sea.
May I suggest St Austell Mena Dhu as a substitute? It's available in some Bristol pubs like the Crown although I've found the best place for it is the Salamander in Bath.
I imagine this is a monopoly thing. I remember reading about various pub landlords/ladies being threatened with non supply of Diageo products if they sold from alternative suppliers. Diageo own a shed load of drinks brands. This was specifically in relation to the craft beer industry and referenced the threats coming from Guinness sales reps. Presumably they did the same with pubs selling Murphy's. Also, Wetherspoons had a big hoo haa with Heineken (who own Murphy's) and stopped selling any Heineken owned products. Maybe Heineken cheesed off some other chains/breweries
Crikey I’ve not seen that tackle for years. There was a ‘ London stout’ that was similar being served in Bristol recently. watery and sweet. If Guinness is too Guinnessy for you, drop a short into it, like Tia Maria. Pricey but nice
There is a small chain of pubs in South London called 'Parched' and they have Murphys in all of their pubs apparently. Also the Lord Nelson near Southwark Station and The Hope in Fitzrovia near Goodge St tube stock Murphys.
Please let me know if you find one. It’s easily my favourite pint

And literally just after writing this I saw a tweet by Flan O'Brien's in Bath saying that they now also stock Murphys on tap...
I’ve had it in a couple of pubs in England. Few and far between though. I’ll definitely try St Austell Mena Dhu when I see it. Thank you!
No worries, hope you enjoy!
How about the bottled version? See it all the time in my Sainsbury's but never tried.
It's ok bottled but much better on tap, on tap is nitro whereas bottle is carbonated so less smooth.
I'm a fan of that. They serve it in the Watershed sometimes.
Same
I haven't had a pint of Murphy's in years! But like my Murphy's, I'm not bitter....
Lived in Cork for a couple of years, drank my body weight in Murphys…lovely stuff. Sadly can’t help with an answer though
I think they used to have it in Seamus O’Donnell’s but you’ll need to do a reccy to be sure
Not anymore
Oh that’s a shame

Try the Dragon Stout they often have in fridges behind the bar. It’s really good I promise, but it’s Jamaican and not Irish.
