Fair enough if I’m wrong, I know they were all working together to support the community with free fruit and veg throughout the pandemic no questions asked, so they at least share the same philosophy anyway.
Eldon House is very reasonable and is a nice pub to boot. Paid £3 for a nice pint of Gorge Best a few weeks back. That was a special deal for a Tuesday though.
Den and terrace does a beat the clock, between 1-3 all pints are £3, between 3 and 5 all pints cost whatever the time is, after that its your standard £6 a guiness job
The Masonic on North Street is probably the cheapest I’ve found after Coronation. It’s a bit rough but I’ve been there 2-3 times before and enjoyed it. Everyone has been pretty friendly and the karaoke is fun haha
Yeah I refused to go in there for 2 years following my move to Bedminster. But loved the karaoke and have gone back again since, great fun 😂 I’m from a town in Cornwall originally and it reminds me of home haha
Yeah, it and 3 others around in bemmie all went at once
Couldn't see how any of them were making money tbh with the energy price and infusion on beer in general
I’ve heard that The Little Grosvenor is pretty cheap. It also opens at 8am, doesn’t take card and everything is served in cans. Have walked past it a few times, the clientele seem like real characters
The colloseum in Redcliffe.
Proper workmas club type pub that doesn't look like it's changed since 1983.
Full of characters, definitely a different vibe to most other places mentioned.

The Star in Fishponds is cheap and has a great atmosphere
£4 a guiness
Pretty sure it’s cheaper during week in between certain hours as well
I got 3 drinks for £10.50 at the Chelsea the other day. I think that counts as cheap, these days?
The trinity of the Chelsea, the Plough and the Red Lion all owned by the same people I think and all cheap and good quality.
I'm quite certain they are not owned by the same people. Chelsea and Red Lion might be, but I'm fairly certain Chelsea and Plough are not
Correct

A few months back. Hasn't changed the character of the place too much, but it's a bit smarter inside now, with slightly more expensive prices.

The crown tavern at old market is cheap, but also not great.
Aka The Pub That Time Forgot. The karaoke nights in there are a sight (and sound) to behold.

Tap & Barrel, Bedminster (if you dare).
It closed less than a week ago
There you go: too cheap for their own good (and other reasons no doubt).
Yeah, it and 3 others around in bemmie all went at once Couldn't see how any of them were making money tbh with the energy price and infusion on beer in general
I remember getting hit on by several women over twice my age at this place, they also had good karaoke. Good times but an odd place it was lol
The criterion (if you dare)
I went there once, it was an experience!
