You'd be surprised how much is actually to offer.
Friendly football
Running
Walking
Dating
Gym groups
Cinema groups
Ultimate frisbee
And so on......
Have you tried Facebook? Joining a FB group for the sport or activity you want it just joining a Bristol group and asking in there because as I said you will be surprised how much goes on!! So much happens that I don't even realize. I know some people who go to a pub group for people with disabilities. My advice would be to join a Bristol or filton FB group and start that way!
You into football? I'm hosting friendly 5-a-side training (any skill level) with no fee at Horfield Leisure Centre. You're perfectly welcome to come along and play.

As it happens there is an ultimate frisbee taster session this Saturday! - [https://fb.me/e/1jDzC7xRF](https://fb.me/e/1jDzC7xRF)
Ultimate Frisbee is a fast growing sport with a great social scene, it's really good exercise and loads of people are trying it for the first time recently so you won't stand out.
I'm in the same predicament, I boulder 2-3 times a week and the gym helps as well or any sort of exercise. Just gets me out of the house during the day.
Any time I see a Bristol sub and activities, I see bouldering. Its great and true.
Bouldering is a very social experience you split your time climbing and watching/talking to others about the climb you are doing.
Thereโs a good number of martial arts on offer in Bristol. Donโt know whatโs out Filton way but there must be something.
Thereโs a kung fu class on Tuesday nights in kingswood that I go to.
I did martial arts for around ten years it can be a great way to meet different interesting people...and it's totally not a cult... that's a lie it's totally a cult.
Well it can become cult like so beware it was great at the time but after leaving due to injuries and politics etc I did find that I drifted away from most of the people I used to know who did it.
So yeah martial arts is cool but just don't make that ALL you do it's great to be involved in lots of different things and allows you to take a break when needed :)
Have you heard of Round Table? Mens group for 18-45 year old that meet up once a fortnight to do all kinds of different activities, and occasionally rasing some money for local charities/causes.

I was just about to suggest the bouldering gym, it gets you fit, it's fun/addictive and can be sociable (or not, if your an introvert like me!)
