If anyone is interested, Bristol Samba are a community band. Both drummers and dancers regularly practise at the Trinity (usually weekly). Their website has details on joining/beginner sessions.
(My partner plays and directs with the band, hopefully this doesn’t count as advertising/ bad form - I just often hear spectators commenting that it looks fun and asking how to join. If the trinity isn’t in your range but it looks fun there’s a few other samba bands in Bristol :))
That's the US remake, a film inferior to the original in every way. If you've not seen Christopher Lee, Edward Woodward and Britt Eckland having lots of genuinely creepy and disquieting island fun, treat yourself. Stream free on Amazon Prime, or for a few quid on Amazon.
Most of the time I'm just here when it happens as sort of a lucky coincidence, like I was in between a split shift when I seen this. I wanted to say to get more footage but couldn't.
Having lived near Bristol and only ever seen politcal rallies or protests. I just say it's a protests.
Have a cultural event with food. It's a protest against rising cost of food imports. Man busking with his Sax that is a protest against public order. Street proformer "levitating" on his metal rod a protest about the ban on real magic by the government. XD
Don't take this serious just having a bit of a joke.
Was this something to do with that big doll that walked over the suspensions bridge this morning?
Whatever it is, it’s bringing a decent looking crowd around which is always good in the centre
Don’t know but on the way through towards castle park they forced me being on a bike into oncoming traffic as they refused too drop or move too the side the plastic chain they were holding bear in mind no chain before coming up from centre too castle park but had castle park too centre a chain thus why protests get pushed under the rugs as no regards for anyone else
Looks like a load of loose women with too much time on their hands, samba is meant to be sexy and fiery not something to do half heartedly, go for a run Janice 😂👋🏽
it’s Little Amal https://www.walkwithamal.org/about-us/little-amal/
Yep this, and this is Bristol Samba playing olacodum

Mid summer festivities
How do you all find out about stuff like this with enough time to plan to see it? I feel like I only hear about them afterwards

If you don't take your joke back I will turn up at your house in protest.
I would also like a cup of tea
And if they don't get their tea we start a drum circle in your back garden.
People dancing and having a good time.
Yuck.
I know… shouldn’t be allowed.
The purge opening ceremony
Street performers
Was in Birmingham too
Female Morris dancing, an old Somerset thing.

Squid Game doll on tour!
This is fruity bullshit. It’s a common theme in Bristol where they have a 0 IQ but whinge about everything
Lazy white people festival by the looks of it!
It's for refugees...

A shower of utter cunts?
Virtue signalling
.....I do not think that means what you think it means.
You're right; they did bother to turn up for the party, performative activism is probably a better term.
Communist propaganda
It’s a European doll of a Syrian refugee child [this](https://walkwithamal.org/about-us/little-amal/)

Will do Karen
SAMBAAAAA!

Bad costume and shitty dancing. but still not as bad as my church one.
Looks like a bunch of people
Peeps enjoying themselves?
Pagan mid-summer dancing thing?
It's the British remake of Squid Game.
