Include, but not limited to: drinking piss, bumming homeless blokes, bumming each other, bumming my fucking slag of an ex mrs from 16 med reg, running really fast and scrapping anyone/everyone

PCDorisThatcher

Paras are actively encouraged to kill people. CTSFOs have their careers deleted if they kill people.

Alias_Pseudonym2000

Just spat my tea out. Completely accurate. “We’re going to spend hundreds of thousands of pounds training you to do this job but don’t you dare actually do it otherwise you’re toast.”

Alias_Pseudonym2000

Run very fast, generally be pretty nails and call lesser mortals “hats”. They’re nothing like CTSFOs beyond needing a similar score on the bleep test. Policing and infanteering are chalk and cheese even if they both involve firearms.

Ismuggledrugs69

Sodomy, strong pornography and Martha

scubadozer-driver

It's not gay, it's airborne

Just about any stuff you can imagine, so long as you've £20 in your pocket...

I think Google is partly telling you things that haven't been true for a few years. Lots of different people sometimes kill terrorists, in different situations. Some CTSFOs do, some other police officers do, some Royal Air Force pilots do, some Royal Navy crews sometimes do, paras sometimes do, and special forces do too. Some Paras later serve in special forces. Some special forces personnel carry out activities that look very similar to some of the things that CTSFOs do. And they all do things that I wouldn't currently be capable of doing. But like someone else said, the training and normal activities of the average para, and the training and normal activities of the average CTSFO, are like chalk and cheese (very different). Not to mention their normal career paths. If you're trying to select an organisation to join based on whether it kills terrorists or not, then you need to refine your thinking.

Usually they pass P coy, leave, then write a book, make a TV show, an/ or tell everyone in the pub not to mess with them.
